The Corruption in "The Days of Noah" is Being Repeated, Just as Jesus Said!

It's been more than 15 years since I first began writing about Genesis 6 and the perplexity that this subject has caused the established Church. And I believe perplexity is the proper word to use in this instance. It means "inability to deal with or understand something complicated or unaccountable". Throughout the centuries, the topic of what happened in Genesis 6:1-4 has been mysterious, debated, and contested throughout the Western Church. And it still is!

My husband, Mark,  and I host a small Home Church in our home, and I proudly call us a group of Christian "misfits". We come from all denominations and backgrounds, and the one thing we all have in common is that we were hungry for more knowledge about the God we love and serve, and our established Churches were not feeding us. Some, like Mark and myself, tried various churches to get our questions answered but always seemed to come away disappointed. Our questions couldn't be answered, and we were often counseled to stay within the rigid theological explanations that our spirits discerned were incorrect. So, we jumped into studying the Bible for ourselves, and found it not only fascinating and full of supernatural wisdom, but seemed to be encouraging us to go even further. 

The first question that we could never get satisfactory answers to was the ever-popular and controversial passage in Genesis 6:1-4 ... When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown."

What exactly happened in those  infamous four verses? I say they are "controversial" because they have been a sticking point for many a congregation throughout the millenniums since the Bible was written, and are currently a topic of great import in these days. And that's the real purpose of this post -- to wake up those who are not aware of the literal truth of Genesis 6:1-4 and how the consequences of that fateful event are still impacting us today. So, I'm going to try to give you a synopsis of what happened in the distant past and then connect it to the warning that Jesus gave us ... that in the End Times, there would be events like those during the days of Noah. I hope to show you that what He was describing is occurring today and what we need to be prepared for.

But these are the bare facts you need to know and where I stand today ... Because the established Church is unable to admit the possibility that the Fallen Angels came down from Heaven, mated with earthly women, who then produced children that were a hybrid race of giants, or semi-divine beings, they have had to come up with explanations that, while they may seem logical, are patently false. They attempt to explain the "sons of God" as the righteous descendants of Seth (the third son of Adam and Eve), who was also the six times great-grandfather of Noah. They go on to explain the "Daughters of men" as the ungodly descendants of Cain, Seth's brother. They explain away the description of the Nephilim as "giants" by construing they may simply be dictatorial, oppressive, and controlling "giants of men", in terms of how they wielded their power and exercised their violence.    

But ancient writings such as 1 Enoch, and early Christian Fathers such as Tertullian, Irenaeus, and Justin Martyr all confirm the angelic interpretation.  The Hebrew term for "sons of God" is bene ha'elohim, and scholarly debate throughout the centuries has settled on determining who were the "sons of God" , and what was their relationship with the Nephilim. According to the Book of Enoch and the writings of Second Temple Judaism, (Jewish religious and cultural practices developed between the construction of the Second Temple upon the return of the exiles from captivity in Babylon and its destruction in 70 A.D), the term "sons of God" (bene ha'elohim) refers to angelic beings.

In summary of how history has viewed the story of Genesis 6:1-4, I can say this: As I noted, Enoch, Tertullian, and Justin Martyr took the narrative at face value; that the Fallen Angels had violated God's heavenly order and produced gigantic children. Later theologians like St. Augustine and the early church became uncomfortable with the implications of that model and moved the needle towards a more human explanation, known as the Sethite View. But we can't ignore passages in the New Testament like 2 Peter 2:4, and Jude 6, both of which allude to Angels who left their "proper dwelling" (Heaven) and committed ungodly deeds; who are held in chains in hell until the day Jesus comes to execute His Divine judgment. 

And that brings us to how this extraordinary story has eternal implications for us, and why I see "the days of Noah" in our future. You see, the Fallen Angels not only cross-bred with human women, producing the Nephilim hybrids, but because they corrupted God's divine order even further by cross breeding species, they created a nightmare of genetic engineering, which we call chimeras, defined as "an organism consisting of two or more tissues of different genetic composition, produced as a result of organ transplant, grafting, or genetic engineering. Chimeras are often referred to as the mythological creatures that appear on ancient castle walls, or in cave dwellings -- with a lion's head, a goat's body, or a dragon's tail. But those stories have existed for centuries because they were real. And here's the real kicker ... as the Nephilim died, they had no hope of reuniting with their Creator in Heaven, and their disembodied spirits were condemned to wander the earth until the Day of Judgment, which means they are still here! 

And today we are producing human chimeras as noted by author Alice Park in a 2021 article in Time magazine ... "In a ground-breaking experiment, researchers have successfully created the first human-monkey chimera. The work, published in the journal Cell, describes the first embryo containing both human and monkey cells that was cultured for 20 days...which the scientist [who created it] hopes will now apply to humans." Here's the thing, God specifically states in Deuteronomy that He prohibits mixing together that which was to stay separated -- different kinds of seeds, animals, yarn, and yes, humans with other species. No other species besides man is made in God's image, and we are not to be polluted and corrupted by anything that does not hold the Spirit of God. 

Each "kind" has it's own God-designed "flesh", called Nephesh in Hebrew, and that word transcribes to "soul" in English, but also insinuates "life", describing living beings, including humans and animals. Unfortunately, the Bible doesn't offer as much clear-cut language as some of the extra-Biblical texts do, and that explains a lot of why Christians and the Western Church aren't as educated on Genesis 6:1-4. "Extra-biblical" has long been considered an abomination in the Western Church because it is not found directly in the text of the Bible, and therefore not considered "inspired". But these writings can be useful in providing additional context, historical records, accepted traditions, writings and reasoning from early church fathers, as well as noting that content from Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees can help us understand details and historical background that Scripture leaves out. But we must use careful discernment in applying the entirety of these extra-biblical texts to God's Truth. We must rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal to us what is consistent with the infallible Gospel message. [NOTE: There are passages from these extra-biblical texts that are repeated verbatim in the Bible. For instance 1 Enoch 1:9 appears as Jude 1:14-15. Is God inviting us to search out more of Him with the Holy Spirit's guidance?]. 

So, as I wrap up my thesis on the corruption that happened in Genesis 6, and the fact that Scripture says the abominable Nephilim (defiled, hybrid creations) "were on the earth in those days [of Noah] and afterward, it seems to speak to the idea that the Flood did not wipe them off the face of the earth. I don't have any way of definitively explaining how they remained, or continued, but we know that although Noah was declared "perfect in his generations" [which included his sons], we also know that there were Nephilim tribes post-flood. There has been all kinds of conjecture as to how that could happen, and to be honest, no one can say for sure. There are projections that there might have been a second incursion of Fallen Angels ... or that one of Noah's sons' wives might have had Nephilim genes. At this stage of the game, I don't really need to have that answer.

It is enough for me to be understanding that in Noah's day, God proclaimed all flesh to be corrupted, debased and degenerate, and He vowed to destroy mankind from the face of the earth. It's not hard to see that the genetic manipulation that created the first-generation Nephilim is still being propagated with our modern experimentation with mRNA technology that alters the fundamental biology of our God-created bodies. Nothing has changed. Humans are injected with chimeric vaccines and chimeric cancer chemotherapy. The generations in Noah's day corrupted the human image of God that He called good. But God's spirit cannot dwell in genetically modified beings. Maybe we're not using the exact same methods, but the results are the same: mixing different DNA and creating beings without God's signature in them. 

What do we think is going to happen? The move towards transhumanism -- integrating humans (with and without corrupted DNA) and computers is creating godless vessels; host bodies for the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim (demons); opening gates and portals for these demons to once again flood the earth. And so they have continued to this day. 

I'd like to end with this quote from the website, The Wise Wolf... "The most damning parallel [from the Days of Noah and today] is this: casual acceptance. People eating, drinking, marrying right up until Noah entered the ark. No alarm. no panic. Critical detail: the pre-flood world didn't stumble into darkness screaming. They walked in calm, convinced they were progressing. Genetic manipulation felt like medicine. Chimera creation felt like science. Corrupting all flesh felt like evolution. Transcendence.

Right now, scientists edit human embryos and call it therapeutic. Create human-animal chimeras and call it research. Build artificial intelligence and call it tools. Smash particles hunting the "God particle" and call it physics. Every step justified. Every threshold crossed with peer review and ethics approval. Nobody thinks they're the villain. The pre-flood world didn't either. They didn't know what they were building until it killed them".

We're doing exactly what they did ... corrupting God's image and He will not put up with it for long. And quantum computers are going to speed up the destruction and any chance we have of turning back. Christ uttered those prophetical words 2000 years ago ... As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man. For those of us who can see what's coming, please don't stop warning the unconvinced. They are our friends, our family members, and our neighbors. Jesus has warned us, and we're following the model of those who lived in the days of Noah. We're corrupting our flesh and destroying mankind. Jesus won't wait much longer. 

Genesis 6:5    The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 

 

What Is Happening in the Heavens? New Revelations Unveiled in the Cosmos!

Every once in awhile, my spirit is alerted to what is being revealed in the cosmos, including the possibility of multiple universes [known as the multiverse]. That stretches my imagination! For clarification, the multiverse is defined as "the hypothetical set of all universes. Together, these universes are presumed to comprise everything that exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe them" [Wikipedia]. You might be familiar with the terms "parallel universes" or "alternate universes", which refers to the same premise.    

I will also admit that this is outside my usual scope, and it's definitely a challenge for me to come to terms with it, because I'm never sure if we are being manipulated by the science crowd. I do not have a scientific mind and, frankly, I'm somewhat skeptical of scientific hypotheses because they often conflict with my biblical worldview. That being said, I am fully aware of the theories and concepts that assert "extraterrestrial" interaction with mankind throughout the history of the world, [whether it be with angels, or "beings" beyond the earth, in outer space, and possessing great intelligence].

The one thing I do know [instinctively] is that God is the Creator of all things -- and that includes the entirety of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe the universe(s) -- no matter how many there are. AND, I know [again, instinctively], that while Satan is not capable of creating, he can take those things God has created and corrupt them to serve his purposes. Let me share my train of thought in regards to that statement... 

I am well aware of the scientific speculations regarding the Great Pyramids in Egypt; the megastructures that defy any explanation of how they were erected, and which suggest the use of advanced technology. Where did that advanced technology come from? Gary Wayne, author of Genesis 6 Conspiracy, writes that the knowledge of "the Seven Sacred Sciences [of God] were bestowed to Adam, and were of unimaginable worth, for they contained the secrets of the universe ... Adam was an active practitioner of these secrets/craft while in Eden and also after. Unfortunately, both Eve and Adam ate from the Tree of Knowledge of both Good and Evil, and were instantaneously corrupted by the knowledge of evil and consequently driven from Eden by God".  

From that moment, the sacred knowledge was available to Adam's generations; to be used by both his righteous and evil descendants. In his lifetime, Adam witnessed the incursion of the Fallen Angels of Genesis 6 [who mated with human women, who bore children by them, known as Nephilim, who were half-spirit and half-human giants]. These Fallen Angels and their unholy children provided the knowledge, plus the intellectual and physical ability to build architectural masterpieces that defy logic. This is just the beginning of how I can see that perhaps there are mysteries in this universe that are unexplained by human intelligence, and that the Enemy of God, who has access to the heavenly realms, is constantly trying to corrupt matter, and energy, and entities/beings to destroy those of us made in the Sovereign Creator God's image.

That's a very simplistic picture of how and why it's reasonable to consider what ancient civilizations have revealed about these mysteries, and then compare them to the recent events in our own atmosphere. Could the universe be unveiling [and sending us warnings] that the existence of supernatural beings in the cosmos are real, and we need to consider what it means for the future of mankind? There was a headline that grabbed my attention this week. It appeared on a YouTube video titled "NASA in Panic: James Webb Telescope JUST WARNED THE WORLD". In my lack of knowledge about astronomy, my first question was, "What is the James Webb Telescope"? It is the largest and most powerful space telescope ever built, designed to conduct infrared astronomy and observe the universe's earliest galaxies, stars, and planetary systems. It is equipped with high-resolution and high-sensitivity instruments, allowing it to view objects too old, distant, or faint for the Hubble Space Telescope (which was launched into low Earth orbit in 1990). 

What is so astounding about this video is that the Telescope captured something that not only defied physics as we humans understand it, but defied our very understanding of the universe (again, as we have understood it). Then without warning, the live feed went dark, and the footage disappeared. Days later, an object is spotted hovering over Earth's magnetic field that extends from Earth's interior out into space, where it interacts with the solar wind and charged particles emanating from the Sun. This magnetic field serves as our protective blanket and shields us from disruptive space weather ... and other destructive possibilities.

And the name of this object? Neo Oumuamua.  According to the blog, Science & Nature, in October 2017, astronomers received exciting news! A strange and unexplained object had been detected sailing through our solar system. Dubbed "Oumuamua", meaning scout or messenger in Hawaiian, this celestial body defied all known rules of astronomy and captivated the world with its unusual shape and enigmatic [mysterious] behavior. After much study and speculation, scientists concluded that it was a simple hydrogen comet, its cylindrical shape the result of erosion caused by the solar wind during its interstellar journey, while its polished, metallic surface could be a layer of dust and condensed organic material. Its ability to repel [or evade] the Sun's gravitational pull was explained as diverted frozen hydrogen that produced a jet of gas, allowing the comet to accelerate and avoid being incinerated by the Sun.

That was then ... this is now! Back to the aforementioned object that the  James Webb Telescope spotted hovering above Earth's magnetic equator. And this time, the object wasn't just passing through the solar system. It approached, slowed down, changed direction and then it stopped. NASA's live stream abruptly cut out. Within minutes the raw footage was pulled. The object was renamed Neo [New] Oumuamua and marked as a classified trajectory. But here is the important part ... Just before the blackout, the James Webb Telescope recorded a structured burst of prime number pulses aimed directly at Earth's magnetosphere. 

There is much more information in the video that addresses the actions of this interstellar object, but here is what I'd like you to understand and think about... In a recently declassified think tank paper authored by a coalition of astrophysicists and theoretical physicists, a radical new idea is proposed. Dubbed, "The Veil Hypothesis", the theory suggests that advanced civilizations might deploy passive surveillance objects -- not to observe life directly -- but to breach a higher layer of spatial awareness; an invisible boundary beyond which reality behaves differently. According to this theory, Neo Oumuamua isn't an explorer. It's a marker or instellar buoy placed in orbit to confirm that humanity has passed a technological threshold... perhaps quantum communication; perhaps gravitational manipulation; perhaps something we don't even understand yet.

But those who have much more information about the universe and its history are pointing to the chilling possibility that we have crossed the veil, and now the universe [or Satan's partners in the heavenly realms] are watching what we do. And here's an even more fantastical theory: Engineers who are part of a group of signal analysts believe that Neo Oumuamua may be part of a larger system we've never detected because we're inside of it. Their model proposes some sort of a massive mesh; a multi-dimensional lattice of listening nodes that wrap around planetary systems, like a soft shell. We never noticed it because we weren't loud enough. But now with our quantum experiments, space-based AI, and gravity wave emissions, we've finally made enough noise in the cosmos to activate the net.

According to this group's projections, what is hovering above us isn't a probe. It's a mirror; a perfectly silent device designed to reflect back exactly what we are and what we are doing. Here is what is potentially so terrifying: For centuries, modern man has seen himself as the explorer. And in our time, we have built telescopes. launched spacecraft, mapped galaxies; all with the hope that one day we would discover life [or something] "out there". But perhaps the truth is more startling ... we might never have simply been observers, but rather, the observed. And perhaps we need to consider that something in the universe; something ancient and silent has finally turned its attention towards us because we have attained a level of technological intelligence that threatens our future; or Heaven forbid, a level of chaos and destruction that threatens the universe, and we are now deemed dangerous and menacing.

And I cannot dismiss the nudge I'm receiving in my spirit of the warning that our Lord gave in Matthew 24:37-39 ... the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. People were living their lives as if there were no consequences of their actions, refusing to heed the caution that caused Noah to listen to God, telling him to build an ark. People did not know or understand what was coming until God's judgment came and swept them all away. In this passage, Jesus was comparing the conditions of the world before His return to the wickedness and indifference that was present in Noah's time. Then, God used the Flood to render His unexpected judgment. Today, people are living their ordinary, everyday lives, unaware of the impending significant events happening all around them. Jesus says, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the Coming of the Son of Man"... There is a judgment coming; it will be unexpected. And as the Creator of the Universe(s), what will He use this time?  

In summary, I don't stay focused on these kinds of speculations about what is going on in space. But I do discern that our interest in AI, Quantum, and experiments in frequencies, etc. are leading us down roads that could quickly surpass our ability to protect ourselves from the strategies of Satan and his followers. Ancient civilizations left evidence of mysterious warnings they received from "other worldly" beings. When they went unheeded, these civilizations were no more. I am not a conspiracy theorist nor am I a science fiction lover. For now, I am just aware that our world is undergoing lots of natural phenomena -- volcanoes, threatening weather, strange objects in the sky, and increasing evil at levels we have not seen before. What does it portend? Where will it all end? From the Seven Sacred Sciences given to Adam, to Artificial Intelligence and Quantum experiments, man has opened the door for Satan to tempt us with the sin of Pride. God, save us from ourselves!  

Colossians 1:16-17     For by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, [things] visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His activity] and for Him. And He Himself existed and is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. [His is the controlling, cohesive force of the universe].  

 

Do You Understand ALL the Implications of a New "Golden Age"?

Unless you've been off-planet over the last couple of weeks, you are well aware that our new President has declared that "the Golden Age of America" is beginning anew. But what does a "Golden Age" actually mean? What does it imply? The term is actually part of the language associated with the Antediluvian period of history [which belongs to the time before the Biblical Flood] and recorded in ancient cultures and civilizations. I will delve into that context shortly. Suffice it to say, that the modern connotation of a "Golden Age" is a period of peace, harmony, stability, and prosperity.

In our modern history, it is commonly understood that America entered into its own Golden Age period post-WWII. The 1950s are often credited as being "golden" due to the economic growth and ability to climb in social status if you were intent on working hard and working your "way up". Government was smaller and less intrusive, and it was a time of industrialization and technological advances that contributed to the U.S. becoming an economical powerhouse in the world.

But, there have been other acknowledged Golden Ages in history, such as the ancient Greek dynasty from 500-300 BC, characterized by the advent of democracy, city-states, temples, ancient philosophers, architecture, and literature -- all building blocks of our own civilization. These were followed by the Tang Dynasty [618-907 AD] and the Islamic Golden Age [800-1258 AD]. The former depicted a golden age of Chinese arts and culture, which made an impact across Asia. The latter was distinguished by advancements in science, medicine, philosophy, and the arts. 

Then came the Golden Age of the Italian Renaissance [early 14th Century until the end of the 17th Century], distinguished by the revival of art and culture -- think Da Vinci, Raphael, and Michaelango. Included within this time period was the Scientific Revolution, in which there was a rapid accumulation of independent [autonomous] knowledge that favored abstract reasoning over common sense, and which viewed nature as a machine rather than an organism. It has been speculated that science then replaced Christianity as the focal point of European civilization, giving rise to the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment [also known as The Age of Reason]. Both of the latter still have profound influence over our present age, being associated with advances in literature, humanism, a world economy, industrialization, rationality, astronomy and calculus. 

Taken from the context of advancements in the arts, culture, economic growth, and scientific knowledge, it seems to be a positive indicator that we may be looking at our own new Golden Age. At one level, if you Google "America's new Golden Age", you get the following prognostications ... we're entering into a new golden age in marketing -- everything from "a massive proliferation of television and online channels, including the transformation of the home PC into a retail channel". Spinning off of that trend is the suggestion that we could be entering a strong international sales momentum and global revenue growth. 

But it kind of goes without saying that the New Golden Age seems to be closely tied to the growing use of AI across the fields of Science, Technology, and Medicine. But signaling AI as the harbinger of transformation into a new age for humanity may not be as "golden" as we've been told. And that brings me back to the ancient and antediluvian ideas of an ancient Golden Age, whose memory, author Timothy Alberino states, "was enshrined in the minds of the ancients as a utopian paradise, in which mankind greatly benefited from intercourse with the gods." This is where the ancient legends of demi-gods such as Zeus, Hercules, Achilles, and Dionysus take on significance.

I'd like to recommend that you read Mr. Alberino's book, titled Birthright: The Coming Post Human Apocalypse and the Usurpation of Adam's Dominion of Planet Earth. It ignited my spirit and set off warning bells regarding the human predilection [of some of our contemporaries] to be tempted by new evolutionary paradigms that promise we can surpass God's plan for mankind. That title should sound familiar if you've read any of my posts through the years regarding Satan's appropriation of man's dominion of earth through Adam and Eve's disobedience/sin against God.

I was fascinated to discover [in the book] that "the general narrative relating to the comingling of god and man, the subsequent procreation of hybrid off-spring, (including the Nephilim and the afore-mentioned demi-gods), and the sudden obliteration of a ruinous cataclysm [the Flood] can be detected in the written records and oral traditions of every primary culture on earth. Hundreds of pages could be devoted to cataloguing the parallels in the pre-Flood legends of Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greco-Roman, Mesoamerican, Andean, Polynesian, and Asian peoples [among many others]." The author concludes that "it is logical that all these stories, so homologous in their narratives, originate from the same source". And apparently they all remember this age as glorious and "Golden", with man longing to return to this paradise on earth in which they happily served the desires of the gods.

However, there are exceptions to these harmonious memories. A prominent departure would be the Hebrew account, which we have in our Bible. The history of this period is recorded in the Old Testament as well as extra-biblical texts [of Second Temple Judaism] in Enoch 1, Book of the Giants, Jasher, the Book of the Maccabees, and the antediluvian Epic of Gilgamesh, among others. These accounts leave us with a history marked by extreme violence, depravity, and open rebellion against the Most High God. The stories center around beings [called Watchers] who descended from Heaven, through the stargate [portal] on Mount Hermon, mating with human women, and begetting a hybrid race of Giants who brought violence, chaos, and corruption, along with advanced knowledge and technology that would play into their evil plans to not only subjugate mankind but experiment with geoengineering -- "genetically modifying men and creatures into perverted reflections of their own likeness" [Alberino]. 

In the favorable and ancient historical accounts, it is obvious the Watchers were worshipped as gods. Their advanced knowledge allowed them to tempt earthly men with the things that could be accomplished [as in building megaliths like the Egyptian pyramids, and even developing nuclear-equivalent weapons]. As Timothy Alberino writes, "This was the true Golden Age of yore. The gods were dwelling among men, imparting forbidden knowledge, corrupting the genetic matrix of life, and leading mankind into open defiance against his Maker -- seizing for themselves the adoration that belonged to Yahweh". 

So, how are we to interpret the call for a "New Golden Age"? Does it raise any warning flags for you? Is the development of Artificial Intelligence at quantum speed going to be the spring board for a new age of gods who might once again subjugate men to their nefarious designs to control this realm called Earth? I know it sounds like a science fiction nightmare; a reinvention of the Terminator hypothesis, but if we're honest with ourselves, I think we instinctively know that God's Enemy, Lucifer, is not going to give up on his revenge against men. And we know that man's pride will always lead him down a path to his own destruction. 

A Golden Age in America sounds enticing, for sure. Man has been seeking it since the fall of Adam. And I know that we're all tired of the machinations of men who only seek their own power and self-interests. Technology has some great things to offer to make our lives better, but we must be discerning and tuned into our God. Does it honor and glorify Him? Does it promote His plan of redemption and reconciliation with Him? Or is it becoming another tool of the devil to turn our focus away from our inheritance in God's Kingdom in Heaven? While this post may sound like the rant of a crazy Christian, I ask that you simply be aware that the promotion of a Golden Age has dramatic historical significance, and we better be careful of where we're headed. "Trust not in your own understanding, but acknowledge God in all your ways, and He will make your path straight".

Where Are We in the Cosmic Chess Match between God and Satan?

If you have followed this blog through the years I've been writing, you might remember that I have made references to a "cosmic chess match" between God and Satan. On one side is the Most High God and His army of angels [messengers], led by the archangel Michael, "the great Prince". On the other side is Lucifer, or the devil, and his army of princes, rulers, powers and spiritual forces of wickedness. And from the beginning of the Word in Genesis, to the last verses in Revelation, they are battling for the dominion of Earth.

There is a good argument that Heaven's army, led by Michael, [whose name means "who is like God"] and whose title of "Michael the archangel" can be translated as "the greatest messenger who is God", is a type of Jesus. In other words, Michael behaves in a way that corresponds to Jesus's character or actions in the New Testament. Consequently, Satan's army is led by an angel who was once known as Lucifer, the anointed cherub who was the guardian of God's throne. But the sin of Pride, which caused him to seek to overthrow God, resulted in him being cast away from God and out of Heaven, where he is still seeking to dethrone God in the hearts of men and permanently lay claim to the dominion of Earth. 

Throughout history, Satan has attempted to infiltrate this earthly realm and influence, or revive, his rebellious spirit in men who would [willfully] further his cause in defying God and becoming Master of this planet. Remember, Satan has no home ... he was banished from his estate in Heaven, and is jealous that the dominion of Earth, which Jesus created to be like Heaven, [its authority, command, control, and jurisdiction] was given to man. The Bible gives us an abbreviated timeline of the cosmic chess match between God and Satan regarding who will rule Earth. It's a game of strategy, foresight, and calculated moves, and mankind is dramatically affected by each deliberate and purposeful move.

An easy analogy to help you understand this "cosmic chess" premise is to picture Jesus as the King piece, sent by God to re-establish Heaven's dominion over the earth; first through Jesus, as the Son of God, and then to see that authority transferred to us, His children (represented as the Pawns on the chess board). God ultimately evaluates and moves the other pieces on the board in response to Satan's moves, and in accordance with achieving His goal -- first, making us in His image so that we would safeguard earth as a colony of the Kingdom of Heaven; and then to reflect the nature and culture of our true Homeland.

And how has Satan played the game? From the beginning, he has tempted mankind to follow in his footsteps; to become our own "little g" god, rebelling against the mandates of God in order to secure our own earthly empires. God counters with a move that removes mankind from their favored position in the Garden, forcing us to use our free will to decide who we would obey and emulate. Satan's move: his servants give in to their lust for earthly women and subjugate mankind to a race of hybrid giants, who become "men of reknown", self-proclaimed gods who build their own empires and devour the earth with their evil, violence, and brutality. Again, God counters with a Flood that wipes out the wickedness in men and evil angel/gods.

And that has been the recurring story ever since. Satan convinces men to become his willing "pawns" in his strategy to "check" the King. God raises up prophets and righteous men to counter those moves and sets up periods of history in which men turn back to Him -- until the next countermove by the Enemy. And, yes, it should be easy to see that we are the Pawns in this analogous game of chess; the weakest and least mobile of all the pieces on the board. Throughout this match of cosmic strategies, it is the Pawns that are most easily captured and removed from the game. But I found it extremely insightful to find, written within the "Strategy and Tactics" portion of the official Chess instructions, this tidbit of wisdom: At the end of the game, when most of the pieces are gone, Kings typically take a more active part in the struggle, and Pawn Promotion is often decisive in determining the outcome.   

So, what is "Pawn Promotion"? In short, it is the advancement or elevation of a Pawn to a prominent position that has an effect on the endgame. Some of the most effective pawns used by Satan have been those individuals who have been able to foment corruption and outright denial of our ancient Biblical history. For instance, in 1830, geologist Charles Lyell published a textbook titled Principles of Geology, which promoted a doctrine called uniformitarianism, which is a belief that "the present is the key to our past". From that premise, he suggested that what is happening in our present geologic processes are enough to account for all geologic formations in all the ages of history. There is no room for the truth that a kind of cataclysm (a devastating, destructive force) such as the Flood to have pre-existed. This is an outright denial and disregard for the historical accounts of hundreds of Flood testimonies from diverse regions and cultures around the world, including Asia, Australia, the East Indies, Micronesia, Polynesia, South America, Central America, North America, and Africa.  

Another of Satan's pawns was Saint Augustine, who in the 4th Century rejected the account of Fallen Angels lusting after and mating with human women to produce the race of Nephilim giants who were discussed above. He promoted the "Sethite theory" that it was the sons of Seth who impregnated the women. But it's kind of hard to make that theory work, when you can't explain how that union would produce 20-30 foot giants. But you can see how Satan successfully used these men as pawns to deny and disparage Scripture. But God has men that served as useful pawns for His strategies and tactics to defeat Satan, too. The Essenes who protected ancient writings in the caves of Qumran played an important role in re-establishing the validity of Scripture. The Dead Sea Scrolls have opened up a return to searching for Biblical truth. And it is much needed today!

I don't know how many pieces God has left on the board of this Cosmic Chess match with the devil, but I guarantee you that He wants to promote you to play a part in the final victory. You don't have to be captured by the Enemy's subterfuge and denial of our ancient past. And you don't need to be removed from the Game!  

It's time that we deny the misconceptions of pawns like Charles Lyell and his disciple, Charles Darwin. Augustine belongs in that group, too! Their rejection of the testimony of antiquity [the ancient past] and the biblical narrative of antediluvian history, must be challenged. Not only do I subscribe to Proverbs 25:2 (It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and the glory of kings to search it out), but Solomon's wisdom in Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 is the perfect countermove to the false doctrine that "the present is the key to our past". King Solomon states the following: What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a thing of which it is said, "See, this is new"? It has been already, in the ages before us. 

So, what happened in Genesis 6-9 will happen again. Satan and his pawns, here in the 21st Century, are secretly [and frantically] laboring to recreate their empires as gods; opening portals to entities from spiritual realms; and corrupting the genetic codes of humans so that they no longer are made in the image of God --- all with the evil goal of finally securing the dominion of earth. But just as He did with the Flood in those long ago evil days, God [as He promises in 2 Peter 3:10] will cleanse the earth of corruption once again, this time by fire. It's as if Solomon is warning us ... what has been is what will be. Through the Word, we can know the end from the beginning. 

But we also know, just as it did in Genesis, God's judgment will come like a thief in the night, and we cannot predict when it will happen. Now, I don't know how many pieces God has left on the board of this Cosmic Chess Match with the devil, but I guarantee you that He wants to promote you to play a part in the final victory. I believe we will see King Jesus taking a more active part in our struggles, and I also believe that we were created to play a decisive role in this endgame between Good and Evil. I want you to embrace hope and encouragement -- I can assure you that you have a purpose for advancing God's strategy of defeating Satan's kingdom of darkness and re-establishing God's Kingdom on earth. And what an honor it is to be examined and found worthy of advancing the game!

Fallen Angel Stronghold Still in Satan's Plans (For Those With Eyes to See)!

I have been open and forthcoming about my Biblical Worldview, which I will admit oftentimes runs outside of, and independently from, the traditional Church's viewpoint. I hope you will give me the grace and understanding that this does not mean I seek to rebel against traditional and long-established teachings. It simply means that I have not been willing to keep God in a box in order to make Him fit my framework [or the Religious Church's] of who He is or what the Bible desires to reveal to me through the revelations of the Holy Spirit.

You see, I've always held to the axiom that everything in the Bible is true and all about the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. BUT, everything about the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit cannot be contained in the Bible. The totality of information about who they are and the history of the world they created cannot be limited to a book with a mere 1540 pages. As John says in 21:25, Now there are also many things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. And as King Solomon is credited in Psalm 25:2 as saying, It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

So, I guess if you need to put me in a category, it could be said that I do not believe that God has quit revealing Himself to us. In fact, I believe that as the time for Jesus comes nearer, God is revealing Himself more, and continually exposing Satan's hidden strategies in order to prepare His Remnant for the physical and spiritual battles coming in these End Times. And that brings me to a connection between antediluvian history (pre-Flood) and today's headlines that I've been piecing together from several current sources. And again, I'm able to consider these things and vet them against Scripture because I'm willing 1) to accept that their connections are part of God's plan for us to know them; 2) I know how to test the spirits to see if they are from God; and 3) I'm willing to look beyond traditional religious belief systems to see if God is concealing things He wants me to search out. 

So, all that being said, this brings me to the current situation in Lebanon; namely that just this last week the Israeli military began a bombing campaign against the ancient city of Baalbek. Today, this historical site is known for being the location of one of the world's largest remaining standing Roman temples. It is also a World Heritage Site and famous for being known as "the ancient Roman citadel of Baalbek". While this is certainly of interest to us because of the chaos in the Middle East that threatens to spill over into the rest of the world primed for war, there is so much more significance to this site that we 21st Century Christians don't know ... but need to know as to how it relates to these times.

If you research the history of Baalbek in today's search engines, you will most likely discover the near ancient history of this famous site. One such extensive article tells us that Baalbek's origins can be traced back to the Phoenician era, around 900 BC, when it was known as Heliopolis, dedicated to the worship of the god Baal. During this period, the Phoenicians constructed sanctuaries on the site, laying the foundation for the religious sanctuaries and the religious and architectural legacy that would evolve over the centuries. After Alexander the Great's conquest in 334 BC, the city incorporated elements of Greek architecture, as the site embodied Greek style with its Phoenician heritage.

Modern history will tell us that in 64 BC, the Romans took over, and at this time the iconic Roman Temples came into existence, including the Temples of Jupiter, Bacchus, and Venus. These monumental temples, dedicated to these ancient gods were known for their archeological magnificence, and credit was given to ancient Roman craftsman for their engineering skills in constructing these temples of stone known for their size, weight, and engineering marvels required to transport and assemble them. As the article reports, the most famous example of the Baalbek Stones is the so-called "Trilithon", which consists of three enormous stones located in the foundation of the Temple of Jupiter. Each of these blocks weighs approximately 800-1000 tons, making them some of the largest quarried stones in the world. The article goes on to say, "The exact methods by which these stones were quarried, transported, and lifted into position remain the subjects of historical and archeological inquiry." 

While that is the extent that modern secular historians are willing to research this subject, I want to take you a little further down this rabbit hole, if you will allow me. To begin with, the name "Baalbek" comes from the words "Baal" (the god who was significant in Canaanite religious beliefs), and the word "Bek" or "Belaa" (referring to the fertile Bekaa Valley). The name "Baalbek" translates something close to "The City of Baal in the Bekaa Valley". Indeed, the current city of Baalbek is located east of the Litani River in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley. Baalbek is mentioned several times in the Bible, often referred to as "Baal-Gad" and most notably as part of the land Joshua conquered in the land of Canaan --- [Joshua took all that land ...  as far as Baal-Gad in the valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon (Joshua 11:17]. This connection between Baal and Mount Hermon is mentioned several times in the Bible, namely Joshua 12:7, 13:5, and Judges 3:3.

What is significant, yet oftentimes missed by us modern Christians, is the understanding that the pagan god Baal's name means "lord, owner, possessor, or husband", and who was the supreme god of the Canaanites, who became a substitute for YHWH when the Israelites strayed from the One, True God. Also, did you notice the mention of Mount Hermon in these passages? It is necessary that we understand the significance of this location. And this is where you need to do your own research and develop your own Biblical and theological worldview, keeping in mind that God wants us to search out the things He has concealed for this Age so that we can spiritually see the cosmic war between Him and Satan that will determine where all mankind will spend eternity.

So, once again, I am sharing where I believe the Lord has led me. It is up to you to take my discernment, do your own research, and determine what you will believe. Because, very soon, you will need to know exactly what you believe in order to traverse the path before us. So, a very shortened synopsis of where I am at this stage of my research is this ... Because of the fairly recent discovery (1946-1956) of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the Qumran Caves on the West Bank, we find connections between the Bible and 1 Enoch (or "the Book of Enoch"), credited to Enoch, great-grandfather of Noah, who walked righteously with God until God took him to Heaven). 

In fact, verses from Genesis 6, Daniel 7, Jude 1:14, and 2 Peter 4 bear a striking resemblance to 1 Enoch, which historians have speculated could have been written as early as pre-Flood, and as late as 300 BC. The truth is that no one knows the exact date it was written, but it pre-dates the Bible and serves as a historical account of the defection of Lucifer and his 200 Watcher Angels. NOTE: 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch are widely accepted as fraudulent and I do not give them credence as to their veracity. But for the purposes of this post, I want to use 1 Enoch to connect the dots that will lead us to the current situation in Baalbek, Lebanon.

From 1 Enoch 6:5,6 we read, Then they [the Fallen Angels] all swore together and bound one another with a curse. And they were, all of them, two hundred, who descended in the days of Jared onto the peak of Mount Hermon. If you have eyes to see, it can be understood that Mount Hermon was the landing location of the Fallen Angels who would begin their assault on the human race, producing a race of hybrids, known as the Nephilim, who became the Giants, "the heroes of old, men of reknown". It is important that we understand that they were no "heroes"; they wished to be worshiped as gods because they shared the spirit of pride that led them to follow the rebellious Lucifer, in search of their own kingdoms. So they began to share the forbidden knowledge of Heaven with their idolatrous followers among the human race, bringing with them the secrets of astrology, pharmakeia, metallurgy, sorcery, warfare, etc. They used the knowledge of these secrets to gain authority for their sons, who could then subjugate the sons of Adam by building their own kingdoms on earth.

A very insightful picture of this ungodly situation is convincingly written by Timothy Alberino in his book, Birthright: The Coming Posthuman Apocolypse and the Usurpation of Adam's Dominion on Planet Earth: "If men could be enticed to willingly abdicate their authority in exchange for [forbidden] knowledge, then having received authorization from its regents, the Watchers could legally operate in [man's] realm... Thus, the Watchers became the lords of the earth through the dominion of their sons and the willing abdication of mankind". 

So, 1 Enoch recounts the story of the progeny of the Watchers, who continued their Fathers' dominion over the earth, which "became a living hell filled with violence and despair". Eventually the supplications of the righteous line of Seth rose to Heaven and "filled the bowls of God's wrath". So 1 Enoch goes on to reveal that God sets a plan in motion to cause "a Nephilim Civil War; kingdom against kingdom, race against race. The progeny of the hybrid gods slaughtered one another in epic battles, laying waste to their realms and reducing their megalithic fortifications to rubble". The Book of Enoch goes on to recount that the Watchers come to Enoch and ask him to draw up a petition asking God for a second chance, so to speak, and when it was rebuffed,  they were "found together, weeping, in a place called Abelsjail, which is located between Lebanon and Senir". 

Lebanon likely refers to Mount Lebanon, and Senir is another name for Mount Hermon. It just so happens that the imposing megalithic complex located between these two mountains is the very same Baalbek of today! And the fact that it lies at the foot of Mount Hermon (where the Fallen Angels landed) gives me reason to agree with Timothy Alberino's conjecture that it is likely to have been built in the pre-Flood era and served as the epicenter of the Watcher's empire on Earth!

Modern archeologists and historians only credit Baalbek as a site of an ancient Roman temple. True, the Romans would later raise a temple to Jupiter over these mammoth stones, but new technologies have provided archeoastronomers the means to date monuments erected on such sites as the Giza Plateau (Egypt), Baalbek (Lebanon), Teotihuacan (Mexico), Tiwanaku (Bolivia), Sacsayhuaman (Peru) and Goebekli Tepe (Turkey), among others, as having been constructed between 10,000 and 15,000 years ago. The fact that no one, even with our advanced scientific methods, are able to explain how 800-1000 ton stones were placed with such precision, and align with particular constellations and cosmological phenomena, gives rise to the speculation that perhaps the Giant sons of the Watchers were involved in building these megalithic structures as citadels within their earthly kingdoms. And they could have withstood the Flood!

So, as I hope you can see, this is a vast amount of information that takes us down many paths. And in this post, I have just barely scratched the surface of the implications for us Believers. But just for a moment, let's consider what the spiritual significance might be of modern-day Israel waging war on ancient Baalbek. If it truly was a fortress of the Fallen Angels, is God trying to tell us something? Granted, I'm willing to accept that it is just a coincidence ... but man, what a coincidence!  

Satan's enemy [God's chosen Holy Land], is now in a war against what was once the center of Satan's (and his Fallen Angels) empire. Is this signalling to us that the Great Battle between Good and Evil is on the horizon? You might think I'm reaching too far, and you certainly have a right to that opinion. Maybe I am ... but I never want to discount what the Lord might be trying to tell me. For too long, we Christians have closed our hearts and minds to the warnings of God, and look where it's gotten us. So pray! Pray that Heaven's divine and righteous Watchers (yes, there are good ones, too) will fulfill their spiritual purpose: to offer guidance to mankind and provide us with early warnings to keep us aligned with God's will in our lives and on the earth. And pray that we will heed them! The time is near when we will desperately need their holy counsel!     

Daniel 4:17     The sentence is by the decree of the Watchers, the decision by the word of the Holy Ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom He will and sets over it the lowliest of men.  

 

 

 

  

   

 

The Posthuman Revolution & Our Spiritual Battle For the Dominion of Earth!

I would say that it's been 15 years since God invited my spirit to embark on what would become an extraordinary adventure with Him; a greater understanding of Him and my purpose here on the earth. It wasn't an earth-shattering event like Paul experienced on the road to Damascus, but rather a process that began with a hunger for His Word that led to a gradual trust between the two of us. I began to receive affirmations and convictions that what was being revealed in the Bible was true and genuine for me, too; and God received verification that He could have confidence that my faith was certain and reliable, and that I could be trusted to carry out my assignments and follow His commands. I began to hear and see Him, just as Jesus did.

It has been a wild ride ever since, to say the least. I have been shown glimpses of the magnitude and immensity of God and His plan, as well as the significance and consequences of the part we play in it all. I say "glimpses" because, by no means, am I vain enough to think that I am anyone special or remarkable. I have not been given unparalleled access to the Father's mind nor a blueprint to His heavenly agenda for His creation. But what I have been given is a heart over-flowing with gratitude, a spirit eager for answers to my questions, and a passionate willingness to be in service to His Kingdom.

In return, what He has shown me through the Holy Spirit and my relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, is a history of our world engulfed in a spiritual battle for dominion. And I'll take it a step further, and say that I believe our planet has not been the only one involved in the battle to usurp God's power and authority. I know that probably puts me in the "crazy camp" of traditional Christians, but I'm just not willing to confine God's sovereign government to Earth alone. But that's a discussion for another day. Since I find myself situated on this rocky sphere orbiting the sun, it is the subject of my thesis in today's post.

I stated that God has shown me the history of the spiritual battle for the dominion of Earth. Now, I don't mean that I've seen the battle plans laid out in a complete and comprehensive format. But as I've been obedient to go where the Holy Spirit has guided me, and been willing to explore the merits of new revelations I've received [and vetted according to the Spirit], these are the aforementioned "glimpses" that have allowed me to grow in my understanding and to see the spiritual picture become wider in scope. 

From the first chapter in Genesis, the Bible [which is our manual for knowing the fullness of God] has unveiled the conflict between Jehovah, the Most High God, and His enemies, who seek to dethrone Him and take possession of the territories belonging to His sovereign government [i.e., His dominion]. That includes the stars, planets, universe, and men's hearts, minds, souls and spirits. We all grew up knowing the Scripture that tells us God said, "Let us make man in our image", and then He goes on to tell man to rule over the earth and subdue it. The Most High God created us and then transferred His dominion to rule earth to us [His sovereignty, control, supremacy, power and authority]. And we all know what happened in the Garden... God's cunning Enemy (and ours) convinced humans that we didn't have to be content with being "like" God, but could actually "become" a god ourselves. Ever since that fateful decision to believe him, Satan has used mankind to try and achieve his own nefarious plans to take possession of all of God's dominion [everything God created, including man].

Before I present the heart of my hypothesis for this post, I want to briefly touch on two points that the Holy Spirit has made very clear. The first is about something I have frequently written about: the purpose[s] Jesus was sent to this earth; namely to begin the arduous assignment to take back God's dominion on the earth that our forefather Adam relinquished. As Jesus declared in John 12:31-32, Satan is "the ruler of this world". Paul actually stated that Satan is "the god of this world" in 2 Corinthians 4:4. In the John passage, Jesus also alludes to the truth that He will also bring salvation to those who believe in Him, saying "I will draw all people (Jews and Gentiles) to Myself". BUT He makes His purpose for coming to Earth very clear in Luke 4:43: "I must preach the good news [Gospel] of the kingdom of God [God's dominion] to the other cities also; because I was sent for this purpose". Yes, Jesus made a way for us to be reconciled back to the Father, therefore making Salvation a very important facet of His purpose, but His primary mission was to re-establish God's dominion on the earth, which was a strategic strike in the spiritual battle for the dominion over all God has created. 

The second point centers around one of Satan's strategies in this spiritual battle for dominion, namely "the Seed War". When Satan is cast out of Heaven for his rebellion against the Most High God, he convinces 1/3 of Heaven's angels to accompany him and become his army of "darkness". Having served in the Throne Room of God, he is aware that God has made man in His own image and intends for man to rule the earth. Because of his pride and envy, Satan devises a plan to illegally seize man's dominion and set up his own kingdom on earth. So, in Genesis 3, we see that Satan is in the Garden of Eden, deceiving Eve [who convinces Adam to join her in disobedience] and Satan lawfully became the rightful owner of the world due to their free will choice. But God already had His redemptive plan in place. Upon announcing their punishment, our Good Father also promised them a Savior, when He told Satan: "I will put enmity [open hostility] between you and the woman, and between your seed [offspring] and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, and you shall [only] bruise His heel."    

So, Satan's counter punch in this strategic war was to send his evil angels to have sex with earthly women, producing a hybrid race called the Nephilim in Genesis 6.  You see, Satan knew the war would be between his offspring [seed] and God's offspring [His Seed and Son, Jesus Christ]. Satan believed that if he could corrupt the seed line of God's offspring on the earth [man, made in God's image], then Jesus [who was the perfect image of God] could not be born and it would seal Satan's rulership and dominion of the earth. 

And here's the heart of the premise of today's blog: When that evil plan was shattered and Death's hold on mankind was destroyed, Satan did not give up on his plan to retain his dominion on earth. For the last 2000 plus years, he has continued to wage a spiritual war to defile man and eradicate any of the image of God that remains in us. And it is very important for us to recognize that this war has escalated in our lifetime. In the recent past, men, like Josef Mengele, were influenced by Satan's evil desires and conducted genetic experiments on innocent victims as a way to unlock the secrets of God's creation of man -- all with the purpose of corrupting God's design and creating another race of hybrids. Mankind did not yet have the technology or means to gain access to God's genetic code. 

But that hasn't stopped Satan in his plan to destroy God's image in man. The technology to create a new form of man-and-machine hybrid is on the horizon. The rise of Artificial Intelligence has given us cause to be concerned. It has taken on the appearance of a new kind of "god worship". Consider this article on theconversation.com, which states that "Generative AI can create or produce new content with several characteristics that are often associated with divine beings, like deities or prophets, such as: a level of intelligence that appears limitless; it is capable of great feats of creativity; it is removed from normal human sensations like physical pain, hunger, or sexual desire; it can offer guidance in daily lives; and probably the most seductive, it is immortal. How many people do you think will gladly sign up to receive a chip that repeats the promise made in the Garden of Eden: you, too, can become like God?

Also, we must not dismiss that by merging with AI, we could become a form of artificial life with a hybrid consciousness that would be in competition with the Holy Spirit. It should not be difficult to comprehend that we would no longer be human in the sense that we would no longer be in the image of God, nor belong to Him as sons and daughters. Can you see that this is all part of Satan's plan to keep his dominion of the earth? If he can change our DNA and genetic makeup, thereby destroying our connection to God, who will be left to fight for the Kingdom of God on earth? Not to mention, who will have access to eternal life in Heaven? Of course, Satan's emissaries are already trying to convince the godless that they can have eternal life and immortality through AI. 

There is so much more I could say about this subject, but I just want to submit to you that we must not fail to take proper notice of the wicked and iniquitous plans being arranged by our scientists, technology titans, medical experts, politicians and world leaders to lead us down a road from which there is no return. In summary, I would like to share a couple of quotes that I pray will garner your attention. The first comes from author Timothy Alberino, in his book, Birthright:  "Over the last several decades, the development of emerging technologies has been advancing at breakneck speed along the upsurge of an exponential growth curve... Among these technologies, there are four whose imminent convergence is predicted to catalyze what analysts are calling the "posthuman revolution." Styled with the acronym GRIN [a fitting appellation, as we will see], the intercourse of genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology will facilitate enhancements to the full spectrum of human biology, body, mind, and soul and give birth to a posthuman being -- humanity 2.0."

The second quote comes from Dr. Leon Kass, the former chairman of President George W. Bush's Council on Bioethics... "For anyone who cares about preserving our humanity, the time has come for paying attention. Human nature itself lies on the operating table, ready for alteration, for eugenic and psychic "enhancement", for wholesale redesign. In leading laboratories, academic and industrial, new creators are confidently amassing their powers and quietly honing their skills, while on the street their evangelists are zealously prophesying a posthuman future."

So, my question to you is this: we know they are exercising their powers from Satan to recreate humans and seal their creator's eternal dominion over the earth. Are we physically and spiritually prepared to battle for our original design by the Most High God? And do we recognize that the battle between Jesus and Satan, between Good and Evil, for this planet and the world happens right here on earth? Are we capable of standing our ground and using our power and authority to defeat this abomination? Are you hearing any of these warnings coming from your pulpit? Do you think Christians in our country are ready for this spiritual war -- or are they abiding in a place of comfort called "Religion", unaware of what is being fomented all around them? It is time for a great awakening, alright! It is time to put on our spiritual armor and be ready for what is so clearly coming, and I'm afraid too many of the faithful are going to be blindsided. Lord, shine Your Light on this diabolical and satanic agenda and make ready Your Remnant! Our future lies in eternity with You in Heaven. Do not let humankind be deceived again!

Are Aliens and Extra-Terrestrials Biblical?

I'm sure all of you are aware of the interest in UFOs and aliens. Our nation [and the world] have long been fascinated with this subject. In our popular culture, most would probably point to the Roswell incident in 1947 as the first time the possibility of extra-terrestrial and alien visitation to our planet seemed a real possibility. Of course, it was all explained away as "just a weather balloon", but it didn't take long for the rumors to surface and spread that it was actually a "government cover-up." 

But would it surprise you to know that in 1639, John Winthrop, governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, wrote in his journal that "James Everell, a sober, discreet man" and two others had been rowing a boat in the Muddy River, which emptied into the Charles River [located in eastern Massachusetts] when they saw what we would term some kind of alien apparition?

An article on history.com reveals that "When it stood still, it flamed up, and was about three yards square, and when it ran, it was contracted into the figure of a swine. The mysterious light ran as swift as an arrow, darting back and forth between them and the village of Charlestown, a distance of approximately two miles. When the strange apparition finally faded away, the three Puritans in the boat were stunned to find themselves one mile upstream [which would have only been possible if they were rowing against the tide]  -- it was as if the light had transported them there. Furthermore, they had no memory of how they got there. Researchers and historians have speculated that they witnessed an extra-terrestrial spacecraft and experienced a possible alien abduction". 

Now to answer the question I posed in the title to this post ... Before we can determine whether these kinds of phenomenon are Biblical, we must first understand the meaning of terms like extra-terrestrial and alien. Once again, I am indebted to the remarkable book Birthright, by Timothy Alberino. Simply put, he defines an Extra-terrestrial as "a being whose provenance [where they come from] is not Planet Earth". An Alien is "a foreign being from an extra-terrestrial world". In that sense, we can consider that angels, whom the Bible tells us are messengers and envoys from Heaven, were in reality, both extra-terrestrials and aliens. Remember, angels came from a place that was not Planet Earth [i.e., Heaven], and they were a foreign being from that extra-terrestrial world. Just think of the visitations by these beings to the inhabitants of earth. Jacob, Abraham, Daniel, Mary and Joseph, the prophets and the Disciples all had encounters with these beings, who we could classify as "Aliens from an extra-terrestrial world". And I guess, you could say Jesus meets that definition, too.

Let's go a little deeper ... From what I could determine through my own research, the term alien appeared around 1300, from the Latin word, alienus, meaning "of or belonging to another, not one's own, foreign, strange"; and around 1400, it came to identify "a foreigner, citizen of a foreign land". It was authors like H.G. Wells, who wrote the science fiction novel War of the Worlds, around 1895, that fed the fantasy of beings beyond our planet. Subsequently, in the 1920s, there arose a public interest in outer space, which reached its height with the popularity of the 1950s/60s science fiction movies like Forbidden Planet, The Thing from Another World, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers. And in terms of entertainment, nothing has quite grabbed the imaginations of modern-day audiences like the History Channel's Ancient Aliens. 

According to the show's own bio, if you will, "Ancient Aliens explores the controversial theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth for millions of years. From the age of the dinosaurs to ancient Egypt, from early cave drawings to continued mass sightings in the US, each episode in this hit HISTORY series gives historic depth to the questions, speculations, provocative controversies, first-hand accounts and grounded theories surrounding the age old debate. Did intelligent beings from outer space visit Earth thousands of years ago"?  

NOTE: the capitalization of "History" is a nod to the show's appearance on the History Channel, but also a contrived effort to persuade watchers that their content is actually historical fact. In reality, it is a cleverly disguised manipulation of facts that pits Science against Religion/Faith. And it's just another attempt by Satan to deceive people into believing a compromised version of the creation, the universe, and God. Notice how the creators of the show begin Season 1 ... the episode is entitled Chariots, Gods and Beyond. They introduce the concept of the show by saying, "According to ancient alien theorists, extra-terrestrials with superior knowledge of science and engineering landed on earth thousands of years ago, sharing their expertise with early civilizations and forever changing the course of human history". They rely heavily on Swiss author Erich von Daniken's book Chariots of the Gods, which hypothesized that thousands of years ago, space travelers from other planets visited Earth, where they taught humans about technology and influenced ancient religions. Of course, in this age of advanced technology, that will make sense to those who are unfamiliar with the Bible.

So, can you see that all these theories and explanations could apply to the Fallen Angels? They came from a place that was not Planet Earth [Heaven]; and they were a foreign being belonging to another [Satan], originally from the extra-terrestrial realm of Heaven. Secondly, can you see how cleverly the creators of the show Ancient Aliens could present fake "experts and archeologists" to begin persuading the naive and uninformed audience that the Bible really supports their false hypotheses and speculations, rather than the other way around? The actual definition of speculation is "the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence".

After watching an occasional episode, it has frustrated me, to no end, to see how they are duping this generation into doubting the existence of the Christian God, His divinely appointed angels, and His redemptive plan for mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ. The fake "experts" will make statements like, "Throughout ancient cultures there are stories of god-like beings providing instruction to early humans, helping our ancestors to establish the first civilizations and teaching them in various disciplines. Could it be true"? They will throw in a Bible verse or two from Genesis, and then continue with their real motive of deception by say, "And do mysterious figures who appear throughout history provide evidence that these otherworldly teachers have been with us all along"? Instead of taking the opportunity to discuss the Bible and how it promotes their line of reasoning, they use the series to overshadow the Bible's truths with their own false teachings.

It may surprise you to know that I think the connections that "the scientists" of Ancient Aliens make between the Biblical narrative and the conspiracy theories of their own making are about 98% correct -- for as far as they go. But they never validate the Bible as their source, nor complete their allegations to the full extent of truth and fact. For instance, they will present their suppositions that humans were once bred with alien "seed", producing a hybrid being. That is true. We know that the Bible tells us in Genesis 6:4 that "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them...". But rather than explaining the truth that these "sons of God" were actually rebellious angels who followed Satan in his plan to usurp the Throne of God, who developed his own plan to impregnate human women with the alien seed of his followers to create a foreign race of beings that would be enemies of the Most High God, they present their false theory of ancient aliens from outer space and other planets to override the Biblical narrative. 

And again, they don't present the Bible or Jehovah God as their authority, but rather their team of false "experts" to validate their combination of New Age and spiritualism as the truth behind "aliens and extra-terrestrials". Why don't they refer to the Bible and the Book of Jude which says, "For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ"? 

Or what about this verse: "And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day ---"? Why don't they use the Bible as evidence of real Truth? Because their goal is to make the Bible nothing more than mythology. Satan has once again convinced man to believe his [Satan's] corrupt presentation of God's truth, just as he did in the Garden, when he asked Eve, "Did God actually say..."?

Sadly, the state of the human race is such that far too many have fallen for Satan's cunning ability to disguise and misconstrue the truth from God in the Bible that, yes, by their actual and authentic definitions, aliens and extra-terrestrials have interacted with humans on earth. But just as happened in the Garden of Eden, man's willingness to fall for the ruse of God's enemy has resulted in their spiritual blindness and a spiritual war between three classifications of beings: God's angels and offspring, Satan's angels and offspring, and the race of human beings who must decide whose side they will fight on. 

And I would caution you with this ... just as Satan has initiated an incursion of definable aliens into God's plan for His godly creation, we would be foolish to think he won't try again. Christians must stay connected to God and the Holy Spirit. We must be discerning, and as wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Technology has made it easier for the ungodly to present false testimony and evidence to encourage the ill-informed to follow Satan's hoaxes and deceptions. Be forwarned! Stay alert!

I have barely scratched the surface of this interesting topic, but one thing is clear. It is up to each of us to know the truth of our existence and our purpose. We must decide to do our own research to discover who our Creator is; that we have a very real Enemy who desires to lead us astray; and that we must decide we want to know the truth -- not some fantastical story that tickles our ears and our imaginations, but the real Truth of the One who created us and why we're here. If humankind does not make that essential effort, then we will find that through our negligence and ignorance, there will be a huge price to pay. Yes, our ultimate victory is sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ, but man's hunger to feed his appetite for the forbidden fruit will undoubtedly cost him much sorrow and pain. 

   Jude 8:  Nevertheless in the same way, these dreamers [who are dreaming that God will not punish them] also defile the body, and reject [legitimate]authority, and revile and mock angelic majesties.         

 

       

  

What the Bible Says About Jesus, Man, and the Morning Stars!

I rose in the early hours of the morning, sliding out of bed so as not to disturb my husband's sleep. I nestled into my comfortable recliner to spend some personal time with Jesus. Both my husband and I are experiencing a profound desire to let the Holy Spirit put our lives into perspective when it comes to God's plan from the beginning of time. We are hungry for more heart and spiritual knowledge about the God of all Creation. We know what the Bible says about us and God's love for us. We know what He desires of us, and our responsibilities as sons and daughters of the King and His kingdom. We know about our lost dominion in this earth and our authority to reclaim it. And we know about the power given to us, by Jesus Himself, to defeat the powers of hell. But we also know that there is much more to God's story, and we're just a small [but important] part of it. In all significant respects, it's not about us, but all about Him. 

I'm reading a fascinating book by Timothy Alberino, entitled Birthright. I've just begun, but it is so in line with the thoughts, questions, and direction that my spirit is headed, that I am grateful to the Holy Spirit for affirming that I'm on the path I should be. It's not actually a new path, but one that is ever-evolving as I take my next step and season in the Lord. I think I really began coming out of my Christian "normalcy bias" about 12 years ago when I did a Bible study called Behold Your God. I think it was probably the first time that I began to recognize the box I had put Him in; a box that had been carefully constructed for thousands of years by men's ideas of who He was and what His Word meant for us. And it was all designed to make us the center of His purpose. [In retrospect, although that study was just barely scratching the surface, it went far beyond anything the Church had taught me and it ignited a spark of interest that has continued to burn].

Now, as I've grown older and matured in my faith, I am able to see beyond the barriers that have been erected to keep us [and our knowledge of God] at a distance, and which consequently results in us reflecting upon ourselves and making us the center of all God's works. For instance... [and please bear with me as I attempt to connect the dots of my thoughts with what God is showing me] ... Here we are in the 21st Century, at a critical juncture in our history. We can be hyper-focused and look at everything from politics, to education, to impending wars, to our upside-down morals, to disease and dying, and surmise that it all looks like the beginning of the end for us. Our Christian tunnel vision will tell us we're in bad shape and we need to pray more. We ask, "Where are you, God"? And we think the state of the world has never seemed worse. And we make it all about us.

But I, in my early morning time with Jesus, am able to contemplate that there have been billions and billions and billions of people who have existed over God's timeline that have experienced this and worse. The devil whispers that from the 50,000 foot view, I don't even register on God's radar. But my faith and trust in Jesus knows without a doubt that He cares about each one of us, and knows our fears and troubles; we are not insignificant to Him! At the same time, I also recognize that many Christians interpret the Bible as saying we are the center of Jesus's focus and purpose for appearing on the earth... that what is happening to us now will have the most impact on the destiny of man. It's as if nothing that came before us really matters in God's mind or plan.

I mean, just consider the opposing views of Young Earth and Old Earth. There are those who believe the earth was created 6000 years ago, while others believe that it is anywhere between 4.5 and 14 billion years old. The Young Earth-ers will contend that the earth and the universe came into existence approximately the same time as man was created ... "as if the universe were made for the earth and the earth for man" [Alberino]. But the Bible doesn't support that. As Paul tells us in Colossians 1:15-17, "He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, in Him all things consist". 

Jesus is the preeminent [primary, superior, first] focus of all creation! He is worthy of all praise and honor! As aforementioned, the universe was not made for the earth, and the earth was not made for man. It was all made for Jesus, the firstborn and beloved Son of the Father. As mankind, we need to understand that there is a proper position for us within the order of creation. We were not there at the beginning of the universe [and not even at the beginning of the earth] and we weren't the first sentient species created. I know that's not the story manufactured under the umbrella of religious concepts, but like I said, if we truly want to behold God in His fullness, we have to take Him out of the box.

Have you ever wondered about what was going on in the pre-Adamic history of the universe? What about some of the other groups mentioned in the Bible as having significance in the Creation story? What is your Christian understanding of the Morning Stars, mentioned in Job 38:4-7? What about the Watchers -- both the holy [Daniel 4:13,16] and the unholy ones [1 Enoch 6:1-2, Genesis 6:1-4], as well as the Nephilim [Genesis 6:4]? Are you willing to dismiss their existence because they aren't talked about in Church? Or do you disregard 1 Enoch because it's not included in our canon [although it was completely preserved in an Ethiopic translation from Greek], as well as several instances of the Bible [Jude 1:4, 1:14-15, and 2 peter 2:4-9] paralleling 1 Enoch's text? If so, I hope you will reconsider their significance in our understanding of how big our God is. If you're like me, I want to know all there is to know about who and for what purpose all beings were created, and I want to know all the ways that God communicated His Truth.

I truly believe that God is opening up our minds and spirits to more depth of knowledge. Of course, the Enemy is always willing to contradict or corrupt our understanding to cloud the Truth. We've seen this happening in ways like the pseudo-scientific/historical TV series called Ancient Aliens. I've always marveled at the ability of the writers of this popular series to get about 90% of the Biblical paradigm correct. But let me ask you this ... Do extraterrestrials and/or aliens exist? And do they have a place within the context of the Bible? I say, "Absolutely"! When you understand that the term extraterrestrial simply means a being who comes from someplace other than earth, and an alien, which is a foreign being from an extraterrestrial world, we see them represented in the ancient book of Job.

"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" I love this passage! It is a challenge that God has presented before prideful man throughout the millennia! Who are we to declare all that God has done or that we are the preeminent creation of the universe? 

Obviously the morning stars were sentient beings [endowed with feelings and consciousness; able to think and act]. After all, they sang and they are older than the earth itself, since they were there to see it formed; thereby making them older than human beings. And the sons of God were created before us, too! It is not all about us! But, here is the magnificent truth: we humans are destined to be sons of God together with them in the Kingdom of God.

These are just a few of the pearls and hidden treasures that have surfaced as I've mined the Word for God's Truth. Maybe some will think that I'm wasting my time ... isn't my salvation enough, they will ask? But I recall Jesus saying [after He was resurrected] that He would send a Helper to be our Counsellor and Guide in all things that come from the Father. Please understand, I know these thoughts will be considered heretical among many religious denominations and teachers. But I challenge you to do your own research and question the religious traditions we've taken for granted. The Bible is not a closed system of instruction and knowledge. It is called "the Living Bible" for a reason. It is "Living and Active" [Hebrews 4:12], ever able to give us more wisdom, understanding, counsel, and knowledge from our Father in Heaven, and our Creator and Savior. 

Bottom line: don't be afraid to go deeper in the Word. The Word is not written to be restrictive. Let Scripture reveal who God is; even knowledge that seems outside the orthodoxy of Religion can be instructive to help you know more about God. AND ALWAYS ... take what you're curious about to Jesus and ask Him if what you are discerning is correct. Trust Him! The devil has long used misguided men to suppress our understanding of just how big our God is. Do we really think that 66 Books of the Bible are all there is in revealing the fullness of Him? NOTE: I'm not blaspheming Scripture! I'm merely saying that He can plant pearls and treasure within His inspired Word that will lead you to greater truth as He reveals more and more of Himself and all He's done throughout time. It's all of inestimable value to those who love Him!
