Senate Vote May Determine Your Parental Rights

It's always a good idea to check up on what's going on behind the curtain.  Our nation is focused on our border crisis, while the world is focused on Russia and Ukraine, plus Israel and Hamas.  So what better time for our government to try to sneak through an adoption of a United Nations treaty?
Specifically, it is called the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).  I wrote a post on this same treaty back in December of 2012.  We have managed to avoid its adoption until now, but it looks like supporters in the UN and Congress are back, pushing harder than ever.  In fact, World Net Daily reports that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted this week to approve the treaty, 12-6.  Now it will go before the full Senate for a vote.
The reasons this is a bad treaty are the same ones that made it unacceptable in 2012:  the treaty states that the term "disability" is an evolving concept (meaning they can make it whatever they want to control the populace);  the UN suggests that there are attitudinal and environmental barriers that hinder the disabled from full and equal participation in society (which means they will just have to make those "barriers" go away, won't they?); and this is the most alarming position to me ... Children with disabilities shall be registered immediately after birth and shall have the right from birth to a name, the right to acquire a nationality and, as far as possible, the right to know and be cared for by their parents.
Now, if the recent case of Justina Pelletier doesn't come to mind, then let me jog your memory.  WND.com sums up her experience best ... She was "taken into state custody after her own physician’s diagnosis of a health problem was overruled, [and] her parents were told they would no longer be able to determine her treatment and future."  Does this sound like she might possibly have been a test case to see how the American public would receive such mandates?  If so, the public outcry had to be discouraging to the UN.  So maybe that's why there is this sudden and furtive attempt to get the treaty passed while our attention is focused elsewhere?
Remember that it was almost two years before her parents were able to fight through numerous court hearings to get her released back into their custody, and resuming the medical treatment that her own doctors prescribed.  Seems to me, that more and more parents would be facing the same struggle against the System in caring for their disabled children.  Who, in their right mind, would surrender their parental rights to a global entity?
Apparently 146 countries have already signed this treaty.  There is no need for the U.S. to take part because our Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) is perhaps the strongest piece of legislation in the world that guards the civil and legal rights of persons with disabilities.  It is our domestic and sovereign law that works better for our citizens than anything the global community could dictate.
Here's an additional factor to consider: the UNCRPD requires each nation that adopts the treaty to provide educational benefits to the disabled.  The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) fears that the treaty would override states' rights in establishing their education policies, and possibly endanger homeschoolers.  As a spokesman for HSLDA told WND, "Remember Justina Pelletier? That’s what happens when the ‘best interests’ of the child are used" as an argument for changes to our sovereign laws.
But just as I pointed out nearly two years ago, it all comes down to this ...  as stipulated in the Declaration of Independence, treaties may not be consummated with other than sovereign nations.  The 1945 ratification of the UN Charter as a treaty is effectively un-Constitutional, because the last time I looked, the UN is not a sovereign nation!
But the recent Pelletier case shows us that they do not intend to give up.  The Pelletier family came very close to losing their individual and parental rights.  If the Senate decides to take up this treaty during a lame duck session and manages to ratify it in the coming weeks or months, everyone with disabled family members may suffer the same battles.  Let your Senators know that we are not easily fooled!

The Hegelian Dialectic & The Border Crisis

I've got the beginnings of a picture forming in my mind, and I'm trying to fit all the puzzle pieces together.  It starts with the concept of the Hegelian Dialectic. If you're unfamiliar with this terminology, I'll try to explain it as simply as I can.  Named after Georg Hegel, an eighteenth-century philosopher, this theory has long been adopted by governments and ruling classes to manipulate their citizens into preconceived plans of action.
I have seen it explained in this format:  PROBLEM-REACTION-SOLUTION.  Look at this way; say a government has a Policy A that it wants to institute.  But they know that there is no way the majority of their citizens will ever accept or approve that policy.  So, they keep their plans under wraps: and instead the government creates Problem B, which is SO BIG (think terrorist event, mass shooting, killer virus) that it is covered night and day on every news outlet in the nation.  The news coverage manipulates and molds society's reaction and creates such disorder in the populace, that they clamor for the government to solve this manufactured problem, which ... surprise, surprise ... just happens to be Policy A that has been kept in the closet and can now be brought forth, and which is happily accepted by the deceived populace.
Smarter people than me have attributed these major events to the Hegelian Dialectic:  WWI and WWII were manufactured by the bankers to bring them more power, and to establish the League of Nations, the United Nations, and the European Union.  In general, all the modern wars -- the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars, the War on Terror, the War on Drugs, etc.  -- have all been designed to increase defense spending, higher debt, and more poverty; and the world's elite bankers just keep getting richer.  And don't forget such manufactured events as the Energy Crisis, the Climate Crisis, and every nation's Economic Crisis ... all created from a preconceived agenda.
So now that you should have a clearer picture of how the Hegelian Dialectic works, how does it fit in with the crisis on our southern border?  Remember, there has to be an agenda that the American people would never agree to in the beginning.  One possible plan is this: the elite in our government (that includes both parties) are all about power, and there are millions of illegal immigrants in this country that potentially represent a huge voting bloc that would guarantee that power.  However, the elite have been unable to sell the idea of complete Amnesty, no matter how hard they've tried.
So what if they create the problem of thousands of homeless, immigrant children on the border and continuously cover the "humanitarian crisis" on the news?  Add to that the fears of rampant disease and possible terrorist infiltration.  Then create some further chaos by shipping busloads of these illegal immigrants to cities across the country.  Is that a big enough PROBLEM for you?
Who could deny that they are getting the REACTION they want?  They need chaos, conflict, and hostility to grow if they are going to offer the SOLUTION that will satisfy the masses, but which is really what they wanted to accomplish in the first place.  The big question is this: what is the true agenda they are trying to accomplish, and how far are they willing to go?  Is it really a vast, new voting bloc to ensure power for the next several generations?  Or is it something even more threatening, such as instigating such turmoil and upheaval that our present system of government will need to be reconstructed?
Just in case you think that my tin foil hat is screwed on a little too tight, I would like to point you to an article on SHTFPlan.com back in January of this year, and ask you the following questions:  Why in January of 2014 --- six months ago --- was FEMA seeking contractors who could supply medical biohazard disposal capabilities and 40 yard dumpsters to 1,000 tent hospitals across the United States; all required on 24-48 hour notice?  Why in October of 2013 -- nine months ago -- was the CDC soliciting 31,000 doses of pediatric flu vaccine?  During that same time period, FEMA requested over 100,000 winter and summer shirts and pants, tarps, and pre-fabricated housing units.
There were all kinds of theories among the conspiratorial crowd, but perhaps the PROBLEM just had not come into view yet.  Perhaps what we saw in January was the pre-arrangement for the PROBLEM they were planning.  Could the Hegelian Dialectic be in play as we face this border crisis?  Can we, the people, avoid playing into the hands of the Elite? Can we solve this PROBLEM on our own, thereby defeating their pre-designed agenda?
Honestly, they've been pretty successful so far ... it would take a miracle to defeat their plans.  But,  I just happen to believe in miracles and the power and authority of my God.  I cannot answer if He will foil the evil schemes in this spiritual war; I can only pray that He will guide us in His purpose and His will.  That's the best SOLUTION we've got.

The Border Crisis & The Reconquista

The #1 story in the U.S. news cycle is the crisis on our southern border.  It is not only a story of thousands of illegal immigrants being allowed to enter the country, but it is also a narrative concerning the spread of disease, the imminent danger to our homeland from terrorists, and the will of the people being ignored.  The Border Patrol agents are reporting (and contracting) communicable diseases that threaten all of America, as busloads of people are delivered throughout the country.  And author Dave Hodges describes the biggest threat, when he says, "Some of the people crossing our border are violent gangsters posing as children. And some of the people are terrorists posing as immigrants."
But could it also be a not-so-subtle plot to encourage "The Reconquista?"  In case you are unfamiliar with this term, in Spanish it means "the reconquest", and was popularized by contemporary Mexican writers Carlos Fuentes and Elena Poniatowska to describe the increased demographic and cultural presence of Mexicans in the Southwestern United States.  And it has taken on even more significance since becoming the battle cry for La Raza and its student/university arm MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán).
In legal terms, La Raza is "the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization (community organizers?) in the United States, and works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans."  In its more radical, cultural application, it has repeatedly called for the seizure of several states (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado) and make them into an independent country called Atzlan (which is the legendary ancestral home of the Aztec, one of the main cultural groups who later adopted the identity of Mexica, and who are closely associated with modern Mexico).
This seizure of a portion of the Southwest United States, and the establishment of Aztlan is at the heart of "The Reconquista".  (It also served as the storyline for the second book in Matthew Bracken's popular trilogy, Domestic Enemies: The Reconquista.)  But it is the mission statement of MEChA that gives us the clearest picture of this ideology as outlined in their Spiritual Plan for Atzlan:  “In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny. … Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. … We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada. Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we…should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot…Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas … It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny.” (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006).
Eight years later, they must be seeing the glimmer of hope that their plan is coming to fruition.  And it is time to sit up and take notice when you hear statements, such as this, from Miguel Perez of Cal State-Northridge's MEChA "The ultimate ideology is the liberation of Aztlan. Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing would commence: Non-Chicanos would have to be expelled -- opposition groups would be quashed because you have to keep power."
And just how would this power be perpetuated?  First of all, you need to know that La Raza is extremely well-funded through American tax dollars.  In one year (2005), La Raza received $15.2 million in federal grants. Of this $15.2 million, $8 million came from the U.S. Department of Education.  It has even been rumored that some of this money goes to get-out-the-vote efforts (There's the community organizer aspect, again).  Combine this information with the fact that our President openly supported La Raza during his 2008 Presidential campaign, and reports that the recently stalled Senate Bill 744 supplied a secret $300 million dollar slush fund which was earmarked for La Raza, and you begin to wonder if there isn't some under-handed collusion going on.
And before anyone accuses me of being racist or anti-immigration, I acknowledge how much the Hispanic population contributes to this nation, and I welcome any person of any nationality or color into this country who is willing to abide by our laws and desires to become part of our American family.  But the erasure of national borders and the "reconquering" of our nation is not something that I can recognize or concede.  And when I see groups become radicalized for the purpose of furthering distance and discontent between American citizens, then I become concerned about their motives.  It is becoming more and more obvious that this border crisis is being manufactured for increasingly suspect purposes.   Keep an eye on this situation and keep looking behind the curtain.

Are We That Far Behind?

If, as Americans, we were honest with ourselves, I think we would find that as we have attempted to become more "tolerant", the overall repercussions have been a disintegration and deterioration of the fabric of our society.  Does that mean that a bigoted, exclusive and insensitive people is preferred?  Absolutely not!  But there needs to be a balance between respecting our differences and allowing the destruction of our culture in the name of "acceptance".
I am saying all this because of a disturbing trend that is taking place in Britain, and which has the possibility of becoming a problem for us, too.  I found it very interesting when CBN News reported that "the British government has announced that schools will be required to teach British values."  Why make that distinction and what brought this on?  Apparently, this new policy came about in the wake of news that Islamists took over several schools in the United Kingdom. This alleged plot to turn British faith-based schools into Muslim training academies has been dubbed "Operation Trojan Horse."
British Islamic expert George Igler is quoted as saying, "Individuals with a religious motivation have taken public money and basically created madrases; basically created religiously motivated schools that promote intolerance, and this in some cases is a criminal enterprise."  The school policy  decision comes at a time when Britain was already in an uproar over the explosion of Muslim halal food in the nation's food supply, and after revelations that several predominantly Muslim sex gangs around Britain were using English girls as sex slaves.
Another aspect of this development is that Britain is the only Western country with a functioning network of Sharia tribunals and councils.  There are over 100 Sharia courts in Britain, and they are dealing with marriages, divorce, even with criminal matters. They're also marrying children!
In Birmingham, England, with its large Muslim population, authorities say Islamists were turning schools into centers of extremism.  And in one school the Muslim call to prayer was broadcast across the school playground, and non-Muslim teachers were forced out.
I bring this to your attention because if you think it can't happen here, think again!  Todd Starnes, at Fox News, reported that parents at a Wichita, Kansas elementary school were shocked to discover a giant wall display inside the building promoting the five pillars of Islam.  The exhibit was part of a religion component being taught at Minneha Core Knowledge Magnet School.  School officials said the study of Islam is part of their “Core Knowledge” magnet curriculum, and if you've been reading my blog for awhile, I don't have to point out that anytime you see the word "Core" in a school curriculum, you better be looking for Common Core, the federally funded education curriculum -- which includes many studies on the religion of Islam, by the way.  Supposedly, the "Core Knowledge" purpose is not to explore the matters of theology, but to understand the place of religion and religious ideas in history.  But that begs the obvious question ... If the purpose was not to teach theology, why was the school teaching the five pillars of Islam?
Then there's the issue of the Sharia courts.  According to an article in The Washington Times, Islam’s sharia law is insinuating itself into our courtrooms, schools, prisons and every other aspect of society. The lever often used is one of discrimination against the precepts of shariah, while Christian and Jewish customs and laws remain.  In a 2011 report, the Center for Security Policy found 50 “significant” published appellate court cases where sharia law entered a U.S. court’s decision making.  Among those cases are the following:
•  The Muslim Students’ Association and the Muslim Accommodations Task Force has convinced at least 17 universities to have foot baths built or under construction, including Boston University, George Washington University and Temple University, and at least nine universities have prayer rooms for “Muslim students only,” including Stanford, Emory and the University of Virginia, according to USA Today.
•  Illinois’ Skokie School Districts replaced Veteran’s Day with Eid ul Adha, a major Muslim holiday, in 2013.
•  In Ohio, a Muslim death row inmate, Abdul Awkal, has filed a federal lawsuit arguing the prison system’s failure to provide halal meals is a restraint on his religious freedoms. His on-going case already succeeded in having pork removed from the prison system’s menu.
In each of these cases, intimidation and threats of lawsuits forced U.S. laws and customs to give way to sharia law.  In the face of this pressure, we must admit the facts as the British have now figured out, and as Omar Ahmad, co-founder/Board Chairman of Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), in 1998 said publicly, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”
Is it too late for Britain?  Michael Gove, British secretary of state for education, told parliament that British schools must be put under new leadership, and taken in a fresh, new direction.  "And we will put the promotion of British values at the heart of what every school has to deliver for children."
Will America learn from Britain's failing "tolerance" policy?  Will we listen to the wise words of our Founding Fathers, who themselves confronted the differences between the two religions?  John Adams wrote a 4-page letter after he and Thomas Jefferson met with the emissary of the Islamic potentates of Tripoli to Britain, regarding the Barbary Pirates’ demands for tribute.  In the letter he made this observation:  "We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the grounds of their pretentions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation.  The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of their prophet, that it was written in their Qur’an, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Muslim who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise."
Just as the foundational principles of our Christian faith have not changed in a couple of thousand years, neither have those of the Islamic faith.  The threat to Great Britain is real and it has progressed to the point that they must push back or risk losing their culture.  So, I ask the question presented by this post ... Are we that far behind?  I have listed only a couple of examples of where we have "bowed down" to the tenets of Islam and forsaken our own laws, traditions and faith.  Do we really think if we show a good faith gesture of tolerance that we will still be allowed to honor and glorify our God?  It is time we pull our heads out of both the clouds and the sand, and stare the truth in the face.  If we don't want to follow in Britain's footsteps, then we better decide to know what Islam really is and how we are going to protect our own values.  Our schools and our courts are already under attack.  We better pay close attention!

1 Corinthians 8:5-6    "For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth—as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”— yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist."

Asian Trade Treaty: Thank God For the Alternative Media!

If it wasn't for the Alternative Media, we'd still be in the dark about more government secrets.  Leave it to the Canadian Free Press to shed some much-needed light on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).  Never heard of it?  Me neither.  You can actually scour the internet for plenty of opinions on this Trade Treaty, but nowhere have I found the Mainstream Media informing the public about it.
As further reported by the New American, it is a secret so-called trade agreement that is on track to be completed by the end of 2013.  Or at least, it is expected that President Obama will call on Congress to approve the TPP in early 2014.
Just like the massive 2,000 page Affordable Care Act (that Congress had to pass in order for us to find out what was in it), this treaty has 29 chapters, but only 5 of them have to do with trade.  Michael Snyder of The Economic Collapse Blog, says, "Most Americans don’t realize this, but this treaty will fundamentally change our laws regarding internet freedom, health care, the trading of derivatives, copyright issues, food safety, environmental standards, civil liberties, and so much more."  He goes on to say that if Wikileaks had not secured access to the TPP draft, there would be next to nothing known about it. It posted a 95 page, 30,000 word document that was "horrifying." Writing about it on his blog, Kurt Nimmo, who edits and writes for InfoWars.com, noted that there are provisions within the treaty for implementing “a transnational ‘enforcement regime designed to supplant national laws and sovereignty with a globalist construct. The TPP is by far the largest and most oppressive economic treaty devised so far."
The Canadian Free Press quotes William F. Jasper, an author and a senior editor of The New American, who calls the TPP “bigger and more dangerous than ObamaCare”; noting that “In November 2009, President Obama announced his intention to have the United States participate in a so-called trade agreement known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership. I say "so-called" trade agreement because 80 percent of the proposed agreement deals with a great many issues beside trade," deeming it “an all-out assault on our national sovereignty.”
“It would unconstitutionally transfer legislative powers from the U.S. Congress, our state legislatures, and our city and county governments to multi-national corporations and unaccountable international bureaucracies at the World Trade Center.”  And if that doesn't shock you, this revelation from Jasper will surely scare the bejeezus out of you!  "Incredibly, it would also transfer judicial powers from our federal and state courts—which are bad enough—to globalist TPP judges, regional tribunals, and the World Trade Organization.” The treaty would “confer huge advantages on foreign businesses and large multinationals, while at the same time putting companies that operate here in America—especially small and medium enterprises—at a competitive disadvantage. American businesses would remain shackled by the regulations of EPA, FDA, OSHA, etc. while their foreign competitors could operate here unimpeded by those same strictures.”
Even The Huffington Post is warning of the ramifications of this secret legislation, reporting that the result of its passage could be the criminalization of small-scale copyright infringement, and households being disconnected from the internet under laws that punish unauthorized downloading.  Internet providers would be forced to do more monitoring of their subscribers, and it would be easier for governments to remove websites, critics say.  And RawStory.com provided this scary little tidbit:  Ongoing talks between Vice President Joe Biden, who was in Asia earlier this month, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker focused on the President's push to convince Congress to offer him Trade Promotion Authority — which would allow him to fast-track trade deals through Congress --- and I'm assuming that authority would include keeping Congress and the American people out of the process.
So where is the MSM on this important piece of legislation?  Why all the secrecy, and why the pressure to fast-track it?  Is this just another vehicle to sublimate the power of the American constituency to a global entity?  Has Congress become that irrelevant?  All these questions deserve answers.  The sad fact is that we are likely to receive none.  The Trans-Pacific Partnership appears to be just one more hindrance to American sovereignty and liberty.

2 Corinthians 4:2    "But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's Word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God."
