I want to begin by saying that the Lord is pointing me to warnings from many outlets and sources about the subject of today's post. Because I am just now doing my own in-depth research, I don't feel confident declaring that I know everything about this Congress and the Noahide Laws. But I do think that it could consequential for all citizens of the world, and I am sharing knowledge from an article that I discern to be important. I am also sharing my own concerns and reservations regarding how this event could lead to the Biblical signs of the Last Days that our Lord has given us. Please read the linked article and then do your own research. I believe we could be on the precipice of a global shaking.
This is a very serious and important post. And from everything I have been able to discover [so far] about this International Congress, which is meeting in Jerusalem, it could possibly have grave effects for Christian believers. I am going to try to construct an intelligent and astute explanation for my concern regarding this event, and it will take some understanding on the reader's part to do their own research on our Biblical teachings and history, as well as investing considerable time to comprehend the complexities of the Jewish religion. I will do my best to try and share a comprehensible and intelligible breakdown of the different aspects and history of the Jewish faith, and the components of the Noahide Laws that are giving me pause about this global gathering, which appears to be seeking to establish a Worldwide Noahide Movement.
But let me begin with the obvious questions... What is the purpose of this Congress, and the purpose of the Noahide Movement? What are the Noahide Laws? And Why are they so important to this global conglomeration?
At this point, I'm going to be honest and forthright... I am no scholar on Judaism or its various theological branches. But God has highlighted this Noahide movement, the recent increase of global interest in recognizing it as an institutional structure, and the possible effect on Christianity. According to Israel 365 News, this November, the First International Congress of Noahides will gather in Jerusalem, "bringing together delegates from six continents to formally establish the World Noahide Movement -- complete with a founding charter, a rabbinic court, regional councils, and a financial infrastructure designed to sustain a global religious civilization".
If you are a student of the Bible, that should set off warning bells! From my admittedly simple understanding of this movement and its purpose, their goal for these six days in November is to produce definitive institutions, who follow the Seven Laws of Noah (given by God) that provide the minimum moral framework God requires of all human beings, regardless of nationality or background. In November 2025, the Noahide World Center published an updated manifesto laying out its vision for a restructured global moral order. The goal seems to be to establish a model of "religious symbiosis" throughout the world -- joining Jewish fundamental values and the Noahide platform [with Israel at the center], "enabling true co-existence and global cultural diversity and inclusion".
At the end of the five-day summit, the delegates from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania (the islands scattered throughout the Pacific Ocean) will have ratified the founding texts of the movement: a 14-chapter codex (list of laws) available in 20 languages, and a prayer book in six languages. The congress will formally establish the First International rabbinic court, composed of judges from Jerusalem, six regional rabbinic judges from the six represented continents, each committing to a twelve-month regional plan and a gathering before the following year's congress. In addition, a three-arm financial model will also be formalized to include dedicated donations, member dues ($36/year), and government grants. An international Finance Committee will be formally appointed on the first day and will begin operating immediately.
So what exactly are these Noahide laws? They are seven ancient laws that are widely viewed as the basis of a civilized society. According to rabbinic Judaism they are thought to have been given in their fullness [by God] to Noah after the flood. This idea of a formal set of laws given to all humanity (seen as all the sons of Noah) comes from the Babylonian Talmud, which casts a shadow on it, in my opinion, and which I will explain shortly. So, before we go further, let's take a look at the 7 Noahide Laws:
1. Do not worship idols
2. Do not curse God (blashpeme)
3. Do not commit murder
4. Do not commit adultery or sexual immorality
5. Do not steal
6. Do not eat flesh torn from a living animal
7. Establish courts of justice to ensure obedience of these laws
I'm sure you recognize that these laws are very similar to the Ten Commandments given to Moses, and which are included in the Christian Bible and the Torah (the first five books of the Hebrew Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). These Ten Commandments are known as the Mosaic Laws. According to the website, GotQuestions.org, Jewish tradition states that the first six of the seven Noahide laws listed above were given to Adam in the Garden of Eden. The sixth law (to not eat live animals) was irrelevant since Adam didn't eat any animals. But when God established His covenant with Noah, He added the seventh law (about the courts of justice), and the sixth law then became applicable.
Furthermore, according to Judaism, a Gentile does not have to follow the Mosaic Law; however, all Gentiles are obliged to follow the Noahide Laws. This Noahide movement has been growing significantly since the 1990s, and because it is accepted that the Noahide Laws, given to Noah's children, are universally binding, I submit that we Christians need to be paying attention. [NOTE: George H.W. Bush signed the proclamation recognizing the Noahide Laws into Congress on April 14, 1989, as part of "Education Day, USA"].
While a non-Jew who follows the Noahide Laws is considered a "righteous Gentile", there is cause to be concerned about the strictness of the courts being established under a global system. On the surface, it may sound encouraging. But the manifesto that will be brought forth in November introduces an eighth element that goes beyond the seven established laws: solidarity. "One for all and all for one", the document states, describing a mutual agreement between Noahide communities worldwide. It presents the re-establishment of the State of Israel as the fulfillment of a divine, national, and universal calling -- the turning point at which the ancient promise to Abraham that "all the families of the earth shall be blessed through you" (Genesis 12:3) begins its global expression.
Like I said, this is being framed as a global "coming together"; the world uniting under universal moral law, with a governing body, a binding charter, and formal recognition by the State of Israel -- all in Jerusalem, the city the Torah identifies as the place from which the word of God goes forth to the nations. Nothing wrong with that, right? Well, let me share with you some of the concerns I have for us, as Christians; how continental councils spread across six continents could possibly decide that Christianity doesn't fit the strict model they've constructed ...
The disquiet in my soul and spirit: To begin, the Noahide Laws are derived from the Babylonian Talmud, which asserts that they were given to Noah before the laws Moses received on Mount Sinai. [NOTE: Remember that when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple in 587 B.C., the Jews lost significant religious texts and scrolls, and were exiled to Babylon]. The exiles lost portions of their Hebrew Bible and other sacred writings that were integral to Jewish religious life. While in exile, the rabbis taught orally, from what they could remember of their own instruction in the laws of God. The Talmud consists of the Mishna (the first written collection of these Jewish oral traditions) and the Gemara (a collection of rabbinical analyses and commentaries on the Mishna). Here's the thing with the Talmud: it establishes that the laws apply universally to all humanity, as all people are considered descendants of Noah.
The problem I have with the Babylonian Talmud is that it was compiled between the 3rd and 6th centuries CE, and serves as a primary source of Rabbinic Judaism [including Jewish law and theology] to this day. And my next comment is not meant to offend the Jewish people, because it applies to my own faith of Christianity, as well .... So, what can go wrong when men decide to translate God's laws according to their own interpretation and understanding?
Whether it be Jewish rabbis adding additional laws to God's established principles, standards, and body of law, or Christian theologians like John Darby and C.I. Scofield, who developed religious systems around dispensationalism and pre-tribulation rapture, whenever man attempts to educate the populace according to his own understanding, it leaves lots of room for deception, whether intentional or not. Consider this: God gave the Jewish people/Israel the Torah. He did not give them the Talmud; from everything I can see, that came from the rabbis. Proverbs 3:5-6 makes it clear: Trust the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Then there is the fact that Judaism rejects Christianity's Trinitarianism because it violates the foundational Jewish belief in a strictly, singular, indivisible, and incorporeal (nonphysical) God. Judaism is Monotheistic -- its central declaration of faith, the Shema, is "Hear, O Israel:The Lord our God, the Lord is one". Judaism mandates a uni-personal, absolute oneness; and it teaches that God cannot be split into three distinct persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) or essences without compromising His absolute unity. So, you can see why Orthodox Judaism (from the Pharisees in Jesus's day) up to our current time, have rejected Jesus as God or the Messiah.
In fact, Classical Jewish law has historically viewed the worship of a triune God, or treating a human being (Jesus) as divine, as foreign worship or idolatry. So, right off the bat, Christianity violates Noahide Law #1! How does that play into the Talmud and the Noahide Global movement? This is where it is important for Christians to understand the significance of this Congress in November. From the time of medieval Jewish legal scholars (rabbis), religions were categorized entirely on how strictly each religion adhered to pure monotheism and how completely they rejected physical representations of God. Rabbi Maimonides (born around 1135) is still renowned for his influence on Jewish law and philosophy, particularly the Mishna. And his influence is strongly evident in this upcoming Congress.
Here's why he is pertinent to this discussion regarding the First International Congress of Noahide Law: Based on the criteria of pure monotheism and an incorporeal (nonphysical) God, Rabbi Maimonides viewed Islam as a purely monotheistic faith, while he viewed Christianity with deep suspicion, classifying its core doctrines as either outright idolatry, or an invalid form of monotheism, which is unacceptable to Jews. REMEMBER, the manifesto for this Global Congress presents the re-establishment of the State of Israel as the fulfillment of a divine, national, and universal calling. The Congress will be held in Jerusalem and demands a mutual guarantee between all Noahide communities worldwide, and administered by the six continental councils. The State of Israel, at this point, is largely secular, with a majority orthodox Jewish component (following the Talmud).
Even though Rabbi Maimonides disagreed with Islamic theology and viewed Muhammad as a false prophet, he unequivocally ruled that Muslims are pure monotheists and they were not idolators. However, he ruled that the Christian doctrine of the Trinity divides God's essence, and the Incarnation claims that Jesus (a human being) was divine. In his commentary on the Mishnah, he forbid Jews from doing business with Christians on their religious holidays to avoid enabling what Jewish law considered pagan worship.
And now I come to the essential reason that we Christians should be concerned about the formation of this Global Congress, including the six continental councils and their courts. According to the Talmud (Sanhedrin 56a-57a), violating any Noahide law (including idolatry or blasphemy) carries a theoretical death penalty -- generally decapitation -- under a Jewish court of law (Beit Din). I know this sounds preposterous, and even fantasical! And yes, no such court exists today -- but will that change after November?? From everything I have read, it is within reason that this Congress is attempting to set up just such a system of courts that will rule their jurisdictions according to the Noahide Laws and the Talmud.
With what we are seeing in our towns and communities in regard to Sharia Law, I don't think we can stick our heads in the sand. And I know this will ignite conflict among Christians who believe that we are to bless Israel in all their ways. But we need to be discerning if the Israel we see today is the Zion that God blesses in the Bible. Jesus warns us that there will be deception in the Last Days, and people will fall away. So, I invite you to consider this: what I've laid out for you today fits the axiom of "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". The Monotheism of Judaism and Islam could align against the Trinitarianism of Christianity through this International Congress, and encourage persecution of our faith.
Yes, right now we see no evidence of such an alignment between Israel and Islam; in fact we see "the wars and rumors of wars" that Jesus prophesied. But He also foretold that false prophets will appear and deceive many people; that we will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death; there will be an increase of wickedness and the love of people will grow cold. "For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now -- and never to be equaled again". Let us stay vigilant and pray that God will intervene.
Obviously, there is much more to be studied and spoken about this upcoming. International Congress. I have only shared the tip of the iceberg, and I have much more to learn and pray about this troubling situation. But our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, promises us that the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Whether this International Congress of Noahides is a forerunner of a One-World Religion and/or Government, I cannot say. But I do know this ... There is no other god who surpasses the God of my faith in power and glory! And Jesus is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the Word of His power. In the midst of all the turmoil on earth, and the evil plans of God's enemies, I will cling to His majesty and rest in my identity as an over-comer, and hold fast to the hope of His promises. I will continue to stay alert and awake to the schemes and strategies of the Evil One, while declaring the Love, Hope, and Righteous Judgment of our King of Kings. His throne will be forever and ever.Amen!
Isaiah 40:22-23 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a veil and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. It is He who reduces princes to nothing, and makes the judges (rulers) of the earth meaningless (useless).
