Best Knife For A Woman

I wasn't like my husband, and born with a pocketknife in my hand.  (He was actually sent home from  7th grade for carrying his trusty knife to school).  But it hasn't taken me long to see the importance of having one at my fingertips.  And it was important that I know how to handle it.  So after researching and handling a variety of carry knives, (officially known as tactical folders) I decided on the one I was willing to recommend to you.

Buck Vantage 345

The Buck Vantage knife, model 345, works for me because it is a thin, lightweight knife; not bulky in a woman's hand.  It's made of stainless steel, with a durable reinforced glass nylon handle, so there's practically no maintenance, and you don't have to worry about rust.

The 3 1/4 inch blade is perfect for survivalist chores, everyday tasks, or as a defense knife.  It has a tail clip so you can attach it to a jeans pocket or inside your purse.

The knife works with a liner lock, so there's no spring and it's easy to open and close.  The locking mechanism is even easy to operate one-handed, which was an important feature for me, and you don't have to worry about it closing on your finger.
The final selling points were the cost ( a low $39 at Buck Knives), and the fact that it is made in the U.S.A.  You can't ask for more!
