Jesus Wept

     Jesus wept. This is the shortest verse in the Bible and it occurs in John, Chapter 11 as Jesus approaches the tomb of Lazarus, His friend who had died. I think He probably wept for so many reasons -- chief among them, His compassion for those who suffer. But I also think He wept over the damage and distress and destruction that Death causes, knowing that the wages of sin are Death, and Death was what Satan claims as his victory. I can imagine that Jesus felt all that as He stood at the tomb and comforted Lazarus's family.
     But I am also willing to declare that Jesus wept on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. That is the day that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the inaccurately named Reproductive Health Act (RPA) into law. There is nothing "healthy" about it for the unborn. In a nutshell, the law allows third trimester abortions "when the health of the mother is in danger", and it removes abortion from the state’s criminal code. This would protect doctors or medical professionals who perform abortions from criminal prosecution. The law also allows medical professionals who are not doctors (such as nurse practitioners, physican's assistants, and nurse midwives) to perform abortions in New York. Additionally, the law states that abortions can be performed after 24 weeks if the fetus is not viable, [or when necessary] to protect the life of the mother. These "exceptions" are rather broad, indicating that age, economic, social and emotional factors are reason enough. And perhaps the most egregious part of the bill is that it defines a "person" as "a human being who has been born and is alive".
     How do you think Jesus, the Creator of that person, feels? The Bible tells us He knew that fetus before He formed it in the mother's womb (Jeremiah 1:5). Psalm 139:13-16 tells us that He knitted that fetus in the mother's womb and that the baby is "fearfully and wonderfully made"; never hidden from its Creator. And if that is not enough to dissuade those who favor abortion, let them read Exodus, Chapter 21, where God considers penalties for personal injuries, and then take a good, hard look at verses 22-25, which state, If men fight with each other and injure a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely [and the baby lives], yet there is no further injury, the one who hurt her must be punished with a fine [paid] to the woman’s husband, as much as the judges decide.  But if there is any further injury, then you shall require [as a penalty] life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise. It should be clear from this passage that God considers a baby in the womb to be as human as a full-grown adult, with all the accompanying privileges to life and law. Abortion is a matter of life or death to a human being made in God's image. 

     I know all the arguments made in favor of abortion ... what about the cases of rape or incest? When the mother's health is in jeopardy? And I will grant those are tragic and difficult circumstances. But life comes from our God, and Death is the penalty for our sinful nature. I would ask those who consider abortion in these situations to consider the words of the Lord in Isaiah 45:10-11, Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you begetting?’ or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’”  Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him: “Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands? All children are a blessing from God and made by Him. It is the folly of men to think they can decide if that child [created by God] should be born or not, and the purpose Jesus had planned for that child.

     Yet that is exactly what the New York Reproductive Health Act states: “Every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental [basic, essential] right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion". 

     I believe Jesus is weeping as he witnesses the pride of man in this law, which states, “Third-trimester abortion will be allowed under the new law when a pre-born child is diagnosed with a condition that will cause him or her to die at or shortly after birth”. Where is the fear of the Lord; that recognition of His ability to perform miracles and to heal? But the arrogance becomes even more pronounced. The bill also states that the new law removes protections for babies born alive after an abortion, repealing the requirement for a second physician to be on hand in case an attempted abortion past 20 weeks yields a live infant. 

     And in case you doubt that Satan is laughing in delight, the New York law sets a precedence preventing "the enforcement of laws or regulations that are not in furtherance of a legitimate state interest in protecting a woman’s health that burden abortion access". In other words, the New York Reproductive Health Act would be immune to any laws set forth by the U.S. Supreme Court. Adding insult to injury, Governor Cuomo gave Sarah Weddington, the attorney in the Roe v. Wade case, a special seat next to him as he signed the bill into law. What arrogance!

     I believe Jesus is weeping because He sees man choosing Death over Life; Satan's victory over Christ's victory. And He is weeping over 880,000+ of His creations being destroyed every year in the United States. The Word tells us that Satan comes to "kill, steal, and destroy" and he accomplishes all those goals in the practice of abortion -- murdering the unborn; stealing the life from an innocent person; and destroying what Jesus created. And He is weeping that those who have been appointed to govern us do not know Him. If they did, they could not legislate as they do. And He is weeping that men and women are willing to follow such ungodly and unrighteous laws because their hearts have been so defiled. 

     I usually do not comment on so-called "political" issues, but this is an issue of morality and a flagrant act of rebellion by mankind towards our Holy God. Who are we to determine that a life begun in the womb [by the hand of God] should [or can] be terminated? Yes, you can find facts that the number of abortions have decreased by a couple of thousand in the last couple of years. But Satan could not let this go unchallenged, so now, in cooperation with rebellious men, he is broadening his attack upon the unborn, stealing and destroying life, even after birth! And it is all in the name of "reproductive rights". 

     Pure and simple, it is man choosing to defy God ... and on January 22, 2019, I believe the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all wept. And I ask that all of you reading this get on your knees and pray for our leaders and our nation. Pray in repentance and ask forgiveness for this egregious sin! I cannot ignore the warning in Ezekiel 33:25; a warning given to the arrogant and wicked ... Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?  Pray that the hearts of our citizens will turn away from the Billion Dollar industry that is fed by the blood of innocent children. Pray that our nation will be cleansed of its false worship of Self. Our God is a God of Love and Redemption, but He is also a God of Judgment against the unrighteous and the wicked. And they will not be spared unless they repent and turn from their evil ways.

A Match Made In Hell

     Last week Breitbart.com reported that the Satanic Temple had launched a pro-abortion crusade to come to the aid of America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.  That really doesn't come as any big surprise to me.  In the fall of last year, I wrote an article titled Is There A Connection Between Abortion and Satanism?  In the blog post I referenced the testimony of Zachary King, an imposing figure, and an ex-Satanist and former High Wizard of a satanic coven.  Mr. King gave a riveting account of his association with the occult and a "large abortion provider" in pushing satan’s agenda, including ritualistic abortions.
     Mr. King, who is now an avowed follower of Jesus Christ, reported that, as a satanist, "when trying to get satan’s approval to give you something that you want, killing something (or someone) is the best way to go. Killing something is the ultimate offering to satan, and if you can kill an unborn, that is his ultimate goal."

     This kind of horrific child sacrifice is nothing new ... the Bible records the detestable practice among the Ammonites to their false god, Molech.  And satan's ability to seduce man to make such an abhorrent blood sacrifice has not been limited to ordinary lost men, such as Zachary King once was.  Israelite kings such as Solomon, Manassah, and Ahaz were persuaded to sacrifice children and do "evil in the eyes of the Lord".  Manassah and Ahaz even sacrificed their own sons!
      It is so difficult for me to imagine the power behind the lie that satan whispers in a person's ear to convince them that this practice is acceptable or desirable.  What did Manassah, Ahaz, or Zachary King hear that told them it was alright to become part of a ritual in which a baby's blood is offered to the devil?  And how does satan convince Margaret Sanger, the founder and revered "mother" of Planned Parenthood (that's ironic, isn't it?) to  become involved in Rosicrucianism, a combination of occultism and mysticism, in which members believe they possess secret wisdom that was handed down to them from ancient times. (The same "wisdom" that Solomon, Manassah and Ahaz thought they received?).
     I started this post by saying it doesn't surprise me that there is a modern link between the Satanic Temple and Planned Parenthood.  I think that link has been there from the beginning!  Sanger, who lost her five-year-old daughter to pneumonia, attempted to connect to her dead child through séances and occultic rituals.  Combined with her Gnostic spirituality and an extramarital affair with author H.G. Wells, the devil found, in Sanger, a useful servant to help continue his ritual of child sacrifice.  Her belief that it is human knowledge that enables the redemption of the spirit, not God; and his belief in Social Darwinism and racial dominance, provided the perfect merger for demonic reasoning.
     When one disavows God, it opens up fertile ground for satan to put down roots.  The Enemy convinces men that they possess a mind that is capable of determining their own eternal destiny, and that Science can light the way to all the knowledge necessary to one's life.  Consider the early writings of H.G. Wells:  "Science is a match that man has just set alight. He thought he was in a room in moments of devotion; a temple, and that his light would be reflected and display walls inscribed with wonderful secrets and pillars carved with philosophical systems wrought in harmony. It is a curious sensation, now that the preliminary sputter is over and the flame burns up clear, to see his hands lit and just a glimpse of himself and the patch he stands on visible, and around him, in place of all that human comfort and beauty he had anticipated ... darkness still."  To me, this sounds like a man who was unable to see beyond his own existence, and to see a Light that shines in, and overcomes, that darkness.
     Somehow, satan was able to infect Margaret Sanger with his darkness; an evil that would result in quotes like these:  "The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it";  and "We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population".  She believed in an American Baby Code which would result in selective births.  She believed in population control, sterilization, and social planning via quotas.  And perhaps worst of all, she would become an inspiration to another of satan's emissaries, Adolph Hitler, who was a student of Sanger's eugenics policies.
     Together Planned Parenthood and the devil have made a diabolical duo.  Their legacy has led to satanic rituals in abortion clinics, such as described by Zachary King; to the selling of aborted baby  body parts for profit, as revealed in videos by the Center for Medical Progress; and to this video of a demonic exchange between an abortion doctor and a pro-life advocate.  The exchange occurs less than a minute into the video and shows the doctor growling and speaking in a clearly demonic voice, denouncing Christ and proclaiming his love of killing babies.  The devil isn't even trying to hide his influence over humans any longer.  But why should he?  As the Christian Church, we haven't done much to hinder his killing of over 1.4 billion babies worldwide since Roe v. Wade (over 59 million in the U.S. since 1972, and over 2,000 just today).  He can afford to put a display on before the cameras.  He has no need to hide his agenda or his partners in crime.
     As I sit here, in utter despair for the grief that mankind's unrepentant actions have caused God, I give thanks for those mothers in my life who could have chosen to listen to the lies of satan, but instead walked in the Light of God and gave birth to the children who have graced my life and filled it with such joy and love.  Abortion is just one of the ways in which the devil fights his spiritual war against God's creation.   When the Bible says he came to kill, steal, and destroy, this is what it looks like.  And his battle wages on, more in the open than ever before, as the Satanic Temple joins forces with Planned Parenthood.  Perhaps they sense that Jesus, the Righteous Judge is coming soon, and this is their last stand.  As we wait on the Lord, let us renew our strength and be just as bold as the Enemy ... let us declare that Victory is ours, and his final defeat is near!

"The All Seeing Eye": Searching For The Light & Immortality -- Part II

   
      On Wednesday, I wrote about the history and symbolism of the Pineal Gland.  In researching this topic, I was amazed at the range of articles on this endocrine gland -- everything from occultic to scientific to the bizarrely spiritual. While I do not endorse all the references I have used, they have provided enough common ground that I think they warrant attention.  Today, I want to show you some rather unsettling theories that surround this mysterious gland, also referred to as the Third Eye, or the All-Seeing Eye, and why both ancient and modern cultures are so fascinated with it.

     In fact, you might have heard "the All-Seeing Eye" also referred to as "the Eye of Horus".  Horus was one of the most significant deities in ancient Egyptian religion, who was worshipped from at least the late Pre-dynastic period through to Greco-Roman times.  He is most commonly understood as the son of the gods Isis and Osiris, and he plays a key role in the Osiris myth as Osiris's heir and the rival to Set, the murderer of Osiris.  But the one thing you need to understand is that he is just one more personification of the spirit of Nimrod, the original man of rebellion against God.  (Read my post on false gods and Nimrod to get the Biblical perspective).
     Then there was the Greek god, Hermes; the son of Zeus, who was considered a god of transitions and boundaries.  Mythology tells us Hermes wandered in a rocky, desolate place to meditate and pray. Following secret instructions of the Temple, he freed his higher consciousness from bondage to his physical senses. Thus released, his divine nature revealed to him The Mysteries. He beheld a terrible, awe-inspiring figure: the Great Dragon, with wings stretching across the sky and light streaming in all directions from its body.  The Great Dragon called Hermes by name, and asked why he meditated on the World Mystery. Terrified, Hermes prostrated himself before the Dragon, beseeching it to reveal its identity. The great creature replied it was Poimandres, the Mind of the Universe, Creative Intelligence, and Absolute Emperor of all.  Hermes besought Poimandres to disclose the nature of the universe and the constitution of the gods. The Dragon acquiesced, bidding Hermes hold its image in his mind. Immediately Poimandres' form changed. Where it had stood was a glorious, pulsating Radiant Light, the spiritual nature of the Great Dragon itself. Hermes was "raised" into the midst of this Divine Radiance and the material universe faded from his consciousness.
     Can you see how this search to discover a "higher consciousness" pervades all cultures, and has been sought after throughout history?  Can you see that man, in his desire to acquire this "All-Seeing Eye" is, in effect, trying to discover the mystery of God?  To become like God?  One only need to look at men like Nikola Tesla to see the beckoning call towards "higher consciousness".  In a post I wrote on Tesla, I discovered that he was aware, as a child, that there was an Energy in the Universe, and of trying to awake that energy, and figure out how it could influence people.  He told his interviewer,  "My eyesight and hearing are perfect and, I dare to say, stronger than other people. I hear the thunder from a hundred fifty miles away, and I see colors in the sky that others cannot see. This enlargement of vision and hearing, I had as a child. Later I consciously developed [it]."  I believe he was seeking this "enlargement" through the Pineal Gland.
      In an article by Naomi Astral, she writes that "the symbol of the All-Seeing Eye, has always been part of Earth's creation mythologies and mysteries. In Ancient Egypt, it was symbolised by the Eye of Horus, and conveyed protection, royal power, and good health. The symbol was passed down, through the ancient mystery teachings and can be found on the American dollar bill."
    She goes on to report that "the eye is the observer of reality - or the illusion of reality. This gland is activated by Light (her choice to capitalize the word), and it controls the various biorhythms of the body. It works in harmony with the hypothalamus gland, which directs the body's thirst, hunger, sexual desire and the biological clock, that determines our aging process."  You might be interested to know that this gland is larger in children, and as we age, it begins to calcify and harden.  This fact will become more important as I proceed in this article.
     But what I'm about to reveal to you was not only shocking, but frightening because of its implications.  The beneficial effects of the hormone melatonin (secreted by the pineal gland) have been part of the health supplement scene for some time.  In fact, high melatonin production is known to be synonymous with a high immune system, a low cancer risk, long life, energy, stamina, and according to many, enhanced spiritual awareness.  By now, you should be getting the picture ... many see the Pineal Gland as the doorway to longevity (if not immortality) and enhanced spiritual knowledge.  And this is where it gets a little creepy.
     According to the article I read, there is a tradition dating back to at least 1000 A.D. in which Arabs, and later Europeans, engaged in the practice of 'eating mummy'.  Ancient mummies were ground up and eaten for medicinal and occult practices.  The article maintains that certain secret societies still participate in the eating of "live pineal glands" from sacrifices, as part of their rites and ceremonies.  There was a time I would have dismissed such stories as beyond the realm of reality, but our Enemy has become ever bolder in showing us how he operates, so I am not quite ready to disregard these accusations.
     Apparently, this practice was widespread in Egypt and Western Europe and it consisted of countless ancient African mummies being burned, ground up and made into a kind of powder in order to be eaten. This incredible act of cannibalism was considered an effective medical practice and folk remedy. The belief became widely prevalent that cures could be obtained by eating ground-up preserved bodies. 'Eating mummy' was considered effective in treating contusions, coughs, epilepsy, migraines, ulcers, cases of poison and as a general panacea.
     I will admit that some of the information gleaned from these articles was beyond my ability to comprehend or embrace.  Occult and scientific writings are cited that seem so fantastical -- ancient races of people with three eyes; shamans that can see with their minds, rather than their eyes; cave-dwellers in Tibet who meditated while on mushrooms and knew of a galaxy years before scientists discovered it.... all associated in one way or another with the pineal gland.
     But I was truly astonished to run across old newspaper articles that referenced the eating of pineal glands.  One such article in 1914, ran in the Times Dispatch of Richmond, VA, and the headline read as follows:  "A Food That Does Away With Youth:  Remarkable Discoveries About a Gland in the Brain That May Enable Science Rapidly To Change Children Into Men, Chicks into Chickens, Calves into Cows, to Sate War's Appetite for Meat and Men." Another article ran in The Washington Times in 1915, and its headline read, "Backward Children Are Helped By Medicinal Use of Pineal Gland Extract."  It's not hard to see that there has long been an interest in consuming the pineal gland to enhance our health.  These scientists, doctors, and researchers would have made Ray Kurzweil proud!
     But perhaps the primary focus of the 20th and 21st Centuries has been in the area of aging and the quest for immortality.  We even have a medical field devoted to it ... gerontology.  In the study of aging -- or gerontology -- there are two main groups of thought. One group believes that aging is a natural process programmed in the body. Meanwhile, the other group believes aging is unnatural and it’s the result of cellular damage accumulated over time.
     Remember that in Part I of this article, I mentioned that some medical experts tell us that our pineal gland begins to calcify with age.  Actually, the human pineal gland grows in size until about 1–2 years of age, and scientists have actually shown that calcification begins at the age of 2.  But here is a truly amazing fact:  the pineal gland is activated in a fetus at 49 days!  This most powerful gland that controls our hormones and sexuality is active and functional at 49 days after conception! Many scientists have expressed that it is at its most potent state in utero.  And that leads me down a path I did not want to go -- Planned Parenthood.
     Remember the recent undercover Planned Parenthood video scandal?  The Center for Medical Progress began releasing a series of videos about the Planned Parenthood abortion clinics, which featured executives and staffers at Planned Parenthood and affiliated businesses discussing and demonstrating human organ harvesting and the fetal body part trade.  Thanks to a website, called The Federalist, I was able to go to one source to find a summary of all those videos and get a pretty good picture of what the harvesting was all about.
     Time after time, in the videos, PP representatives make mention of their desire to deliver the head of a fetus without crushing it; to procure "tissues like brain, livers, thymus, pancreas, heart, lungs ... and sell the parts to researchers."  In video #7 (which the media claims doesn't exist), Holly McDonnell, an ex-procurement technician, talks about harvesting a late-term abortion:  "… its nose was very pronounced, it had eyelids, and its mouth was pronounced. And then since the fetus was still intact, she said, ‘okay, well, this is a really good fetus, and it looks like we can procure a lot from it. We’re going to procure brains.’ ”  Is this a secret reason that some legislators are seeking to allow late-term abortions?

     I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the picture.  So, is it too far-fetched to think that this harvesting of fetal brains could be tied to the procurement of pineal glands as some kind of magical cure for aging?  I mean, history shows it has been a practice for 1,000 years!  And with all the interest by transhumanists and the scientific community to achieve immortality, could this be an underlying benefit for the abortion industry?  I hate to admit it, but I believe the evil that is in the world will stop at nothing to offend God and His creation.  Just Google "eating pineal gland to prolong life" and see all the results that pop up!
     And, as if mutilating fetuses doesn't disgust God enough, there is always the search for an alternative spiritual experience; one in which man seeks to establish his own connection to the heavenly realms through his own power.  In essence, we are still in rebellion to God, and trying to become our own gods.
     As I have stated numerous times, nothing has changed since the Garden of Eden.  We are still rebelling, and trying to become equals with our Creator.  We are trying to set our own boundaries and lifespan, and seeking a more superior spiritual awakening.  But like Lucifer and Nimrod, and all who have come in a similar spirit, we will find that there is one set of Laws that govern the universe and all the heavenly realms.  In the end, it is His rules by which we must play.  For all the knowledge, and increased health, and "higher consciousness" that we gain, it will never be enough to usurp His Sovereignty.  And woe to those who try.

What Is Wrong With This Picture?

     Call me naive, simply skeptical, or perhaps it is time to dust off my tin foil hat, but something doesn't seem right about this sudden and nearly hysterical reaction to the Zika virus.  Does anyone else wonder why this epidemic seemed to appear out of nowhere?  I mean, just a month ago, it was barely on the radar... and now the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the virus a "Global  Health Emergency", and the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) is advising protected sex after a case of Zika in Texas was determined to have spread through sexual contact.
     Something just doesn't seem right ... like there is a hidden agenda (again) and we are being manipulated for some other purpose(s).  So, here are the issues that have me concerned:  First of all, there is a report that appeared on the Natural News website, which stated, "Now we may be seeing the first wave of the horrific destruction that can be unleashed by self-replicating genetically modified organisms. The Zika virus, now spreading with unbridled ferocity, appears to have been caused by the release of genetically engineered mosquitoes that scientists hoped would sharply reduce malaria infections."
     The report continues:  "The Zika virus outbreak currently gripping the Americas could have been sparked by the release of genetically modified mosquitoes in 2012," reports The Mirror. "The insects were engineered by biotechnology experts to combat the spread of dengue fever and other diseases and released into the general population of Brazil in 2012... The Aedes aegypti mosquito sub-species that carries both the Zika virus and dengue was the type targeted with genetically modified mosquitoes."  That would explain why the symptoms of the Zika virus are described as "resembling dengue fever".
     Needless to say, if this report is true, something went horribly wrong.  These GMO mosquitos were created by incompetent scientists and released by unconscionable biotech corporations, with no concern about the effects on the ecosystem or the human population.  And this leads to my second concern.  So-called experts are now linking the Zika virus outbreak to a condition called microcephaly, in which an infant’s skull is too small for his or her brain, often crushing or otherwise severely damaging the brain.  A high percentage of children with this condition suffer some sort of neurological disability or retardation, and most will suffer convulsions, and many children born with microcephaly die young.  Was there ever any consideration of the effects upon humans if bitten by one of these genetically modified mosquitos?
      So, what are the solutions?  Brazil, which has been particularly hard hit by the virus outbreak (more than 4,000 cases of infants born with microcephaly to mothers with Zika in their bloodstream in the past year, according to Breitbart.com) is now fumigating with pesticides in advance of Rio de Janeiro's upcoming Carnival season.  Since there is now suspicion that the virus is spread through sexual contact, and Carnival is always suspect for sexually transmitted diseases, the Zika virus is one more health concern that must be addressed, and it is being met with a vast chemical fog.
     But unprotected sex and pesticides are not my only concern about the rapid spread of this disease. The abortion industry is now taking advantage of the outbreak by pushing abortion as a solution to the problem of microcephalic births.  As Breitbart News reported January 29, Planned Parenthood has taken advantage of fears surrounding the Zika crisis in Brazil to promote the expansion of unrestricted abortion throughout Latin America. The abortion business has especially targeted those Latin American countries with restrictive abortion laws, such as El Salvador, in hopes of using the crisis to ease existing abortion legislation.  But Planned Parenthood is not the only one pushing this agenda.   Now Women on Waves, an organization which uses ships to offer safe abortion services outside the territorial waters of countries where the procedure is restricted or forbidden, has announced that they will begin serving areas affected by Zika.
     I am sorry, but my spirit is telling me that all this happened too fast, and seemed too coordinated.  Maybe I'm just a little too suspicious by nature.  But when the cause is a genetically engineered carrier and the acceptable solutions are spraying with chemicals or readily-available abortions, then something smells rotten to me!  All we need now is a new vaccine to come on the scene, and I will know for sure that it is all contrived for our destruction.  Please, God, show us Your truth!  The evil schemes of men are about to overwhelm us, and we need wisdom and the strength to endure!

When The Truth Becomes Illegal

     Do you want proof that the world is topsy turvy?  That everything is turned upside down; right is wrong, and wrong is right?  Just take a look at the decision a grand jury in Houston made when it indicted two journalists who exposed Planned Parenthood's alleged policies of selling aborted babies' body parts.
     Robert Knight of BarbWire.com reports that a felony charge of tampering with a government record was filed against Center for Medical Progress(CMP) founder David Daleiden and CMP employee Sandra Merritt.  Both Daleiden and Merritt made a series of undercover videos in which PP officials allegedly discussed prices and techniques for harvesting aborted fetuses for profit.  Mr. Daleiden also was charged with soliciting the purchase of human organs – as if he really intended to buy them.  Where is the common sense of these grand jurors?

    Here's where things got completely turned around:  The grand jury was initially formed to decide whether a Houston Planned Parenthood clinic was illegally selling unborn babies’ body parts. Instead, the jury ended up indicting the people who tried to reveal the illegal actions.
     I thought the BarbWire article presented an intelligent and clever analogy ... By the grand jury’s reasoning, undercover police officers trying to bust drug dealers should be prosecuted for trying to buy drugs.  Or how about this? Undercover reporters who get the goods on perps should be hauled in and charged with what the perps are doing.
     But here's the deal ... It’s a federal felony to profit from the sale of fetal body parts.  Yet the Houston clinic gets off scott free!  Not even a slap on the wrist!  And we cannot ignore the great lengths to which Planned Parenthood went to create doubt about the videos; specifically, declaring that they had been heavily edited with "cuts, skips, missing tape, and changes in camera angle."
     For anyone who has ever uploaded a video to YouTube, or sent one to friends or family, you know that it is not uncommon to edit the video to eliminate irrelevant material, or to stop and start a camera, or to change camera angles.  I have personally created videos for our business and webpage, and have employed all these techniques... nothing unusual about these characteristics of the CMP videos.
     Just as the writer at BarbWire points out, "[They] simply cannot get around the fact that segments of intact dialogue reveal PP representatives calmly discussing body part prices.  There is no defensible context, nor did they edit out any clips of them later saying, Just kidding."  I agree!  Under what rationale is it OK for multiple PP officials and reps to describe the "crunching" of skulls and the description of fetuses as "It's a boy!", as they offer their pricing structure?
     The only bit of good news that came out of this circus is that Texas lawmakers are studying new laws on fetal tissue donation, and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission said it will drop Planned Parenthood from the Medicaid program.  I guess we will have to see if that decision comes under fire, as well.  I half expect the Feds to try to override state's rights in this matter.
     But I suppose that the miscarriage of justice carried out in Houston should not surprise us.  The Bible tells us that "Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them (Romans 1:32)".  They give approval to the evil-doers and persecute the righteous.  Is that what our society has come to?  If so, then we deserve every ounce of judgment that is coming from on high... and believe me, it is coming!

Glorifying Satan

     If you read my post yesterday, you know that I questioned if God is going to give us one last chance to turn from our sinful ways, repent, and embrace Him.  I found myself wondering if the brief glimpses of some of our political leaders'  honesty and forthrightness regarding the evilness of humanity that is found in ISIS, could be the starting point of hope for this nation.  Oh, how I want to believe that we honor and revere Him enough to see through the lies and deception that permeates our culture!    

     And then the Enemy throws his intentional and false depravity square in our faces!  And it's all right there for the entire nation to see; couched in the emotional and fictional lives of a popular TV show -- yet cleverly portrayed using a storyline right out of our national headlines.  It happened two nights ago, on an episode of the ABC show, Scandal.  The character was the mistress of the U.S. Republican President, and she was depicted undergoing an abortion as the religious hymn "Silent Night" washes over the scene.

     The outright blasphemy that was on display made me sick to my stomach.  But just in case you didn't get the message, the woman on the table recalls the words of her father telling her that a family is merely "a pressure point, soft tissue, an illness, an antidote to greatness.... it makes you weak, pliable... family doesn't complete you; it destroys you."  Then the choir swells to its apex, and sings "Heavenly hosts sing, 'Alleluia' ", as the character exhales, the abortion complete, and she stares serenely at the ceiling, with a hint of a smile on her face.  She is later shown sipping a glass of red wine as "Ave Maria" plays in the background.

     Oh, and let's not forget what preceded the depiction of the abortion.  In true TV fashion, just prior to entering the operating room, the producer has the character watching television coverage of First Lady and U.S. Senator Mellie Grant, who launched "the longest filibuster in modern history" to kill a bill reducing Planned Parenthood funding. The impassioned speech, on the eve of the Christmas recess, made Grant - a Republican senator from Virginia - a feminist hero and inspired the hashtag "I Stand with Mellie."  The sad thing is that there are millions of people across this country who will pay more attention to the actions of these TV characters than they do legitimate legislators!

     I am so disgusted with the arrogance and irreverence of Hollywood, and the fact that they think they speak for the rest of us!  But I guess it should come as no surprise, since the creator, producer, and head writer of the show, Shonda Rhimes, serves on the board of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, according to Time magazine.  Therefore, I guess PP felt emboldened to make this statement immediately following the airing of the episode:  "Tonight, the millions of people who tune into Scandal every Thursday night learned that our rights to reproductive health care are under attack. Never one to shy away from critical issues, Shonda Rhimes used her platform to tell the world that if Planned Parenthood lost funding for contraception counseling, STI testing, cancer screenings, and safe, legal abortion — millions of people would suffer. And this episode wasn’t the first time one of Rhimes’ characters had an abortion, yet tonight we saw one of our favorite characters make the deeply personal decision that one in three women have made in their lifetime. We applaud Shonda Rhimes tonight — and every Thursday night – for proving that when women are telling our stories, the world will pause and watch. We just hope those in Congress — and throughout the nation — who are steadfast on rolling the clock back on reproductive health care access are taking note."

     Maybe it IS a woman telling that story, but producer and creator Shonda Rhimes does not represent me, nor is she telling my story or the millions of stories of women like me.  We do not see fetuses as "soft tissue", nor do we think "family destroys you."  But sadly, her ability to pluck at the heartstrings of women who choose to base their moral principles upon prime-time soap opera fantasies will persuade more of my fellow females than I would like to admit.  

     And even sadder is the idea that the website Life Site puts forward:  This abortion-themed episode airs as the real Republican-controlled Congress seeks to deny Planned Parenthood most of its taxpayer funding for one year after undercover videos showed abortion industry officials discussing the harvesting and sale of aborted babies' organs and tissue. The reconciliation bill must pass the U.S. Senate, currently bogged down in debate over the Syrian refugee crisis.  

     I find it incredibly tragic that this carefully crafted TV piece of propaganda will likely have more influence in the coming days than the sickening real-life videos of gleeful procurers of dead baby body parts.  I'm sorry to be so crass, but I can no longer stomach the lies from those who will stop at nothing, nor stoop so low, to justify their wicked ways.  

     I guess the final blow for me was what happened in the abortion facility's waiting room as the character contemplated her upcoming abortion.  You could hear the TV announcer breaking away from the coverage of the Congressional filibuster of Planned Parenthood funding, and saying, "We now return to 'It's a Wonderful Life,' already in progress."   It was as if to say, let's get this abortion over with, so your wonderful life that is in progress can continue.  When the truth of the matter is this: in It's A Wonderful Life, the main character, George Bailey, is allowed to see just how worse off the world would have been had he not been born.  The movie shows us that each life is precious and touches so many others.  Yet, again, the truth is distorted and twisted into a lie that benefits Satan's agenda.  

     Shonda Rhimes might be a talented TV writer, creator, and a successful producer, but one day she is going to have to stand before the Divine Creator and explain why she used her talents to glorify death over life... why she chose to write a scene having a choir sing a song that glorifies heavenly angels announcing the birth of the long-awaited Savior of the world, while a precious life He created is ceremoniously destroyed.  

     So let the media and the feminists applaud this TV show and it's writer/creator.  Let them call this blasphemous display "awesome" and "no-big-deal" and "revolutionary" and "honest".  I see it through the eyes and heart and spirit of someone who loves the Lord and abhors their callousness and desecration of His Holiness.  My heart breaks for the pain we cause Him.

From Their Own Mouths: The Diabolical Delusion of Abortion

     Let's be clear about something.  I can no longer abide all the "politically correct" nuances surrounding abortion.  To define this horrific practice as simply a termination or miscarriage (as the Apple Dictionary does on my computer), is not giving the true meaning to the underlying motives of those who practice it, nor the truth about the actual procedure that takes place.  Even the word termination is too mild.  The dictionary definition of termination is "the action of bringing something, or coming to an end."  In the case of a fetus, we are talking about a baby... or let me express it more clearly... bringing someone to an end.
     The reason that I feel so moved to be explicit on this terminology is because of two recent stories I ran across.  The first was an article on Breitbart.com that reported on Planned Parenthood retweeting a statement from abortionist Dr. David A. Grimes, who said, in response to the state of Kansas banning D&E abortion, “D and E abortion is not a problem any more than a mastectomy is a problem. Both are solutions to a problem.”

     OK, my first thought was how amazingly bold Planned Parenthood has become in the wake of the video revelations by their officials and business partners.  The second thought, was what a monster this Dr. Grimes is.  Who draws a comparison between a healthy unborn human baby and a malignant cancerous breast that requires removal?  Who else looks upon a healthy human fetus as a diseased organ that must be destroyed?
     So let's be clear about exactly what Dr. Grimes is referring to.  D & E abortion (Dilation and Evacuation) involves inserting a Sopher clamp—a sharp-toothed instrument designed for “grasping and crushing tissue”—into a pregnant woman’s womb and feeling around blindly for anything to grab hold of, and then tearing it from the woman’s body.  That's not my definition.  That is a description by Dr. Tony Levatino, a former abortionist, who gives a step-by-step description of a second trimester abortion:  "Reach in again and again with that clamp and tear out the spine, intestines, heart and lungs... The toughest part of a D&E abortion is extracting the baby’s head. The head of a baby that age is about the size of a plum and is now free floating inside the uterine cavity. You can be pretty sure you have hold of it if the Sopher clamp is spread about as far as your fingers will allow. You will know you have it right when you crush down on the clamp and see a pure white gelatinous material issue from the cervix. That was the baby’s brains. You can then extract the skull pieces. If you have a really bad day like I often did, a little face may come out and stare back at you... Congratulations! You have just successfully performed a Suction D&E abortion. You just affirmed her right to choose. You just made $600 cash in fifteen minutes."
      Remember that I said Dr. Levatino is a former abortionist, and I can only pray that he has confessed and repented of his sins.  I'm pretty sure that Dr. Grimes has not.  A practicing abortionist from 1972 to 2014, Grimes makes the incredible claim that the legalization of abortion resulted in “prompt and dramatic health improvements” for children, a declaration that only a demonically influenced person could make.  How can killing over 55,000,000 babies result in better care for those babies who manage to be born and survive in this culture of death?
      To show you the complete delusion and deception of this man, just consider these following statements:  It was Grimes who famously wrote that there is no such thing as a third-trimester abortion, and that the elimination of a fetus during the third trimester of gestation is a “pregnancy termination, but not an abortion.”  There he goes with that impersonal, PC denial again!  And earlier this month, Dr. Grimes raged against new North Carolina legislation banning the sale of fetal tissue from aborted fetuses.  “The North Carolina General Assembly has been voting in further restrictions to abortion practice. There’s no need for that. There hasn’t been a death from abortion in this state in decades.”  As Thomas Williams, the author of the Breitbart article wrote, "Nope.  [No deaths] except for all those babies."
     But Dr. Grimes isn't the only beloved abortionist at Planned Parenthood.   The website Shoebat.com published an article on Dr. Uta Landy, the former Director of Planned Parenthood-California, and current National Director of a Residency training program in Abortion and Family Planning at the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health in San Francisco.  First, let me say, that I take great offense at the use of the word "health" when it involves Abortion.  The word health indicates the "well-being" of a person; and abortion is anything but that for the fetus/baby.  Now that I've got that off my chest, let me tell you a little more about the good Doctor Landy.
     As an abortion doctor and major Planned Parenthood leader, Dr. Landy spoke at a 2014 conference and boasted about how she murdered a child, and that during the abortion the child’s eye fell off.  In the talk Landy sadistically said, “An eyeball just fell down into my lap and that’s gross, and I say to myself, ‘This abortion is going well; it’s going safely' ”.
     Landy’s comments were accompanied by laughter and applause.  My words in that last sentence do not do justice to the sick feeling in my stomach as I listened to the reaction in the video.   "I feel like any time you enter the body, it’s grotesque," Landy declared to laughter. “I just want to honor that we have different feelings about this — we need to be prepared [for those feelings].”  This latter comment was in response to a fellow abortionist who said that she, personally, finds late-term abortions disturbing, but it is the responsibility to the patients that is primary.  But she was able to clear her conscious by stating, "I don’t like saying I am dismembering a fetus. … It makes me feel bad." Others soothed their misgivings by telling themselves they had to stay strong and fight for the women; while Dr. Landy, herself, said her coping mechanism was to focus on the fetus/baby by realizing that it was "something that was once alive, and now it's not."  Of course it's not, after you have killed it!!  She further states that she has a hard time reconciling the patient's pain.  We can translate that as the mother's pain -- disregard the pain of that fetus as its skull is crushed!  And we're expected to have sympathy for these monsters?!?
     These are the same people who would probably cheer if we found "life" on another planet!  Yet they do not see the part they play in Satan's goals to "steal, kill and destroy".  And can you see how bold the Enemy has become?  Even in the wake of the release of the Planned Parenthood videos, their leaders and supporters have become fearless in presenting their culture of fetal murder.  How much longer will God listen to the cries of those babies before He tells His Son, "It's time for Judgment.  Go!"?  His Word tells me that those who belong to Him will not be subject to that vengeful wrath, but God, forgive me, I wouldn't mind being here to see these fiends punished.  But it is enough to know that their destiny is certain and painful, unless they turn from their wicked ways and repent.  In the meantime, I pray for all of God's babies and look forward to the day they receive their glorified bodies.  Let that day come soon!

Is There A Connection Between Abortion and Satanism?

     This week the national spotlight is on the Congressional hearings on Planned Parenthood and their alleged negotiations to sell baby body parts to medical researchers.  By now, you have at least heard about (if not seen) the videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress.  They are disgusting and show not only the greed of the abortion industry, but the blatant disregard for the life of an unborn fetus.
     As Breitbart.com reported, Congressional Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz opened the hearings by explaining that Planned Parenthood is a rich and wasteful organization of limited value to the women it serves, and that it wastes American tax dollars. He said they make $1.3 billion a year in revenue, spent $5 million a year on travel, pay their top executives lavishly — $600,000 for CEO Cecile Richards alone — and throw fancy parties, one of them called “Champagne Chocolate”.
     But the main thrust of Congress's questioning was something I would also like to know ... why should the American taxpayer fund an organization that had a $127 million profit last year?  Take away whether you agree with a woman's right to an abortion, or whether you think it is immoral or not; and it then becomes a question of pure economics.  And they obviously don't need the funding.  
     But there is something else we need to consider about Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics.  We need to go beyond the stall tactics of Ms. Richards; her misrepresentation of PP's revenues from abortions; the ridiculous claims of sexism and a "war on women" made against Representative Chaffetz; and finally, the most absurd of all: that the videos were a result of false editing by abortion "extremists".  There is a far more sinister and evil underbelly that exists.  It is almost incomprehensible, but those with discerning minds will be able to detect the fingerprints of satan.

     If you are old enough to remember the movie "Rosemary's Baby", then you have a glimpse of what I am about to share.  But before I give you some of the details of what I have found, I must tell you that I at first resisted the story I'm about to tell you; it was just so fantastical that I could not comprehend such evil.  But the story kept coming back into focus, and being confirmed by sources that I considered credible.  I finally decided that perhaps this was the final piece of evidence that would convict the American public that abortion is ultimately the child sacrifice of this century, and something that God has hated since His chosen people followed the Ammonite practice of child sacrifice to their false god Molech.  And so, I bring you the testimony of Zachary King, an imposing figure, and an ex-Satanist and former High Wizard of a satanic coven.
     His testimony is riveting ... and chilling.  It can be summed up in this short summary:  Zachary  was an average boy from an American neighborhood who grew up in a Baptist home. He began practicing magick at 10, joined a satanic coven at 13, and had broken all 10 Commandments by the time he was 15 years old. From his teen years to adulthood he worked his way up to High Wizard in the coven and actively pushed satan’s agenda including ritualistic abortions.
     Abortions as a ritual for satan?  What does that mean?!?  And how do you get from playing games of magick to killing babies for satan?  (NOTE:  "Magic" is what a magician does on stage; slight of hand and parlor tricks.  "Magick" is a term that designates witchery, wizardry, and black magic.) As Zachary tells it, it was a natural progression ... from childhood games like "Bloody Mary" (chanting while looking into a bathroom mirror, which summoned a demon); to Dungeons and Dragons; to experimenting with casting real spells through magick; to an introduction to a coven, and an eventual rise to the top spot of High Wizard.
     “[It all started when] I turned 14, and they told me there was going to be a sex party in someone’s house and all the males in the coven were going to sleep with this woman,” recalls King, now 47 and a pro-life activist living in Florida.  Too young to understand what "abortion" meant, he asked an older member of the coven, "What is an abortion?"  The answer: "“He said ‘we say a spell and there is a baby in its mother’s womb and we kill it.’”
     Zachary might have been young, but he was old enough to wonder if that was legal or not.  The answer was short and to the point:  "As long as it's inside the woman, it's legal."  That was the beginning of a dark road within the occult that would lead to Zachary overseeing more than 140 "ritualistic abortions".
     “Knowing a spell could kill someone inside a woman, and that’s legal, and five minutes later it’s illegal, I said, ‘This is awesome. I can do this all day long.’ You step through this door and you can kill, and you step through this other door and you go to prison. That in itself should tell you how satanic it is,” King said. “The coven leader called it a baby ... not a lump of cells ... and he said, ‘You kill it.’ They didn’t call it a lump of cells.”
     But here's where King's story becomes pure evil.  He said he performed many of the sacrificial abortion rituals at the clinics of “a large abortion provider,” but he would not identify the provider for fear of lawsuits.  King said he was hired to be there, casting his spells, by the abortionists.  “They have hired you to perform a satanic spell and, in order for that to happen, your hands have to get bloody.”
     Now rip your mind away from the horror of that statement and contemplate just how satan is counterfeiting God's blood sacrifice.  From the Garden of Eden (where animals were slain for skins to cover Adam and Eve's nakedness and sin); to the animal sacrifices in the Temple; to Christ's death on the Cross, God has demanded a blood sacrifice for the atonement of sin.  But here is satan demanding a blood sacrifice for his own glorification!  It is the blood that is at the center of this satanic ritual.
     “In satanism, killing something, or the death of something, is the most effective way of getting your spell accomplished,” Zachary said. “As far as trying to get satan’s approval, to give you something that you want, killing something is the best way to go. Killing something is the ultimate offering to Satan, and if you can kill an unborn, that is his ultimate goal.”  I can't help but wonder if abortion is some sort of payback, or revenge killing proposed by satan because he was unable to stop the birth of Jesus, whom he knows will crush his head.  (If he couldn't stop Jesus's birth, then he will see that millions of other babies are destroyed).
     But here's the truly wicked dynamic of this ritual ... He said the women whose abortions he attended would get pregnant with the intent of killing their unborn baby as a sacrifice to Satan.  “So the women knew why I was there,” King said. “They know there’s a satanic ritual going on."
    Zachary King's life story took a different turn in 2008, when he says he was miraculously rescued from satanism and has since become a warrior for Jesus Christ.  I have no reason to doubt his conversion or his testimony of his past life.  For none other than Alveda King, a pro-life activist with Priests for Life, and the niece of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., said she believes King’s story, because she’s heard others like it over the years.  Still, she has no idea how prevalent such practices may be.
     But Zachary King's testimony is not the only one I came across.  In the same article on World Net Daily, it was mentioned that Life Site News, a pro-life website, published a 2010 profile of Abigail Seidman, who from the age of 10 was working in an abortion clinic managed by her mother, a nurse.  Seidman told Life Site her mother’s descent into the abortion culture was not motivated by the usual talking points – to save women from dangerous back-alley abortions, or to “help” women in difficult situations, or even for the money. It was a religion – literally.
      Seidman described the abortion clinic where her mother worked as “pervaded with occult imagery and practices.” The employees considered abortion “a form of sacrifice,” and would perform the procedure as a sort of ritual. They worshiped pagan deities embodying death, which is why Seidman thinks it is incumbent upon Pro-Life activists to know what they are truly fighting.
     The occult is at the root of the abortion industry, and "The occult believers are the ‘core’ of the pro-abortion movement, just as the born-again Christians are the ‘core’ of the pro-life movement...  I see no harm in striking at its heart, and informing ‘pro-choice’ people (particularly the well-meaning but misguided Christians) of who and what they are truly associating themselves with."
    As proof of the satanic overtones to pro-abortion protests, consider the 2013 protests at the Capitol building in Austin, Texas.  A video of a pro-life advocate speaking reveals that at the 5 minute 15 second mark, you can hear pro-abortion activists clearly chanting, "Hail, Satan".   And then you have Mark Crutcher, founder of Life Dynamics, a pro-life advocacy group based in Denton, Texas, who said he has been aware "since day one" that there is a darker spiritual side to the abortion industry that goes unseen.  "We've interviewed a few people here. It was about 1992 or 93, and we had a girl who came from Missouri and she claimed to be involved in the same sort of thing (that Zachary King talks about)," he said. "Women getting pregnant with the intent to kill their babies and women being told they could make themselves holy by offering up their baby as a sacrifice."
     This woman described situations where they would extract babies and do spells and satanic rituals.
The woman also told Crutcher that one of the things they tell women in the counseling sessions is, "You make your baby holy like Jesus, because he shed his blood for you to make your life better, and your baby can shed his blood for you, too."  More of the counterfeit blood atonement!
     The WND article is a litany of some of the most bizarre and evil rituals and sacraments to satan that I have ever read.  It's hard to imagine that women could be tempted to be involved in such savage sacrifices of their own children, or could become so deceived and separated from God.  But those, like Zachary King, who have come out of the occult and into the Light that is Jesus Christ, have a warning for us.
     Just as the abortion and homosexuality agendas have become incrementally acceptable in our society, so will satanism ... if we don't shout it from the rooftops!  Consider King's reasoning when he says, "At Yale last year, we had an attempted black mass. Then in Oklahoma we had an actual black mass... Now they're talking about establishing actual satanic churches out in the open... Everything satanic is coming out in the open, they're not denying it anymore. They're not hiding it in the basement and out in the woods anymore," King said. "It's just out in the open like everything else."
     And if you doubt that it is as pervasive as King alleges, or that satanism is a vital and growing religion, or that when we fight against abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood, we are fighting a spiritual war, just listen to what Father Pavone of Priests for Life says:  "Abortion has never been merely, or even primarily, a political issue. It is a false religion," he writes. "When pro-life Christians, for example, pray in front of an abortion mill, it is not simply a matter of pro-life people opposing false medicine. It is the True Church in conflict with a false Church. One former clinic security guard, after being converted, admitted why he was angry at pro-life sidewalk counselors: 'You were coming to protest in front of our church. That clinic was where we conducted our worship.'"
      If you have made it through this article, then I am assuming you are at least open to the idea that satan is heavily involved in the abortion agenda.  This blog post is hard to get through, and there is more detailed testimony from Zachary King, on this website, should you desire to investigate.  But the thing I want us all to take away from this monstrous and evil situation is that we must get in the spiritual battle.  I don't know if it is too late for God to forgive us ... we have let over 55 million babies serve as blood sacrifices to satan -- whether it was an overt ritual or under the pretense of "healthcare for women", as PP CEO Richards likes to assert.
     But I cannot deny the truth.  We failed those babies.  We failed to stand in the gap for them; and we let abortion become tolerated and allowed in our Christian nation.  Now the curtain has been pulled aside.  Whether it is the "parts for profit" agenda of Planned Parenthood, or the blood ritual sacrifices of satanists, we can no longer contradict what is before us.  We must defeat satan in his plan to destroy God's creations -- both in the spiritual realm and in this physical sphere.  Pray that abortion clinics will be shut down; lobby your elected officials to de-fund Planned Parenthood; ask Heaven's army of angels to surround and protect the unborn in the womb; and be bold in speaking out about the destructive and evil practices of abortion.  Let evil no longer hide behind socially acceptable labels.  Abortion is not healthcare for women; and as creations of God, we do not have the right to kill what He has created within us.  It is time to get in this spiritual battle, before anymore unborn babies are sacrificed.

#ShoutYourAbortion Campaign

   

     Twitter's latest social media craze has been launched in protest of the US House of Representatives vote to cut funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest women's health care services provider.  Apparently there are tens of thousands of women who wish to publicly disclaim the stigma and shame that is associated with abortion.
     They cite various reasons -- convenience, immaturity, being too young, not being in a "good place", no support system -- as to why they have no regrets over ending the lives of the babies growing inside them.  They want those of us who are Pro-Life and view abortion as a sin and murder to know that they are comfortable with their decisions and feel it is a woman's right to choose what she does to her body.  But is it her right to take that choice away from her unborn child?
     Obviously, the Planned Parenthood videos have sparked a controversy that finds women taking sides on this emotional issue.  For perhaps the first time since Roe v. Wade, the facade of the abortion industry (and that's what it is -- a lucrative business) have been unveiled.  The Gosnell trial revealed the horror behind late-term abortions and nightmarish "abortion mills", but that was looked upon as an anomaly.  Organizations like Planned Parenthood were still seen as providing necessary "services" to the modern woman.  Until those videos, that is.  All of a sudden, it became clear that it wasn't just tissue being vacuumed out of 55 million wombs, it was babies!
      The tide of public opinion was beginning to affect the national dialogue about abortion, and some women decided they needed to encourage women to reclaim that conversation.  Amelia Bonow shared her own story on Facebook along with the hashtag, ShoutYourAbortion, and since then, thousands of women across the globe have detailed their experience(s).   Another of the organizers of this campaign, Lindy West, stated that she was tired of whispering about her abortion; that she realised that, even among her pro-choice friends, she never, ever talked about her abortion. She joined Bonow in launching the #ShoutYourAbortion campaign because, "We need to chip away at stigma, at lies, at the climate of shame."
     Apparently others felt the same, as the campaign's Twitter and Facebook pages went viral.  Comments included the following:  "Honestly, my abortion at 20 was one of the first responsible, non-self-destructive, grown-a** choices I ever made" ... "I was 20, in school and my birth control failed. I did not want a child. It was the right choice and I've never regretted it" ... "To say choosing to have an abortion was the hardest decision I've made would be to lie. It was easy. Tears but no regrets" ...  and what I think is the most narcissistic comment I've ever read:  "I've had 2 abortions. I don't have to justify or explain them to anybody. My life is more valuable than a potential life."  Some commenters even remarked that they were sobbing over being shed of the guilt and shame, and were so grateful that they could "come out of the closet", so to speak, and were so happy that they could finally "shout about their abortions".
     It's all summed up in this evil comment from an article in an alleged medical ethics journal:  "… Although fetuses and newborns are not persons, they are potential persons … If a potential person, like a fetus or a newborn, does not become an actual person, like you and us, then … there is no harm at all … The alleged right of (fetuses and newborns) to develop their potentiality … is over-ridden by the interests of actual people (parents, family, society) to pursue their own well-being."

     But, as always, there are two sides to every conversation, and there is some sobbing going on among those women who have a different view of the abortions they experienced.  #ShoutYourAbortion-Regret gave women who mourned their abortions the opportunity to tell their side of the issue.  They, too, have spent many years in silence, not even daring to whisper of the physical pain and emotional trauma that abortion heaped upon them.
      Their stories are eerily similar;  the screaming of their consciences that the procedure was wrong, but they listened to the lies of the nurses and doctors that told them they would soon be rid of "it" and back to their old selves.  It makes me wonder how many of the 55 million moms who aborted their babies share the feelings of this woman:  February 19th, 1994 will be a day I will never forget … the day I had my abortion and selfishly took my child’s life. I was not ready to be a mother and I thought I would disappoint my family, so I chose to end my child's life.
     This was the day that chained me to silence, and began a LONG and PAINFUL road of emotional roller-coasters, ‪self-destruction‬, alcohol use to numb the emotional pain, shame, guilt, and anger, just to mention a few of the “side-effects” of my abortion. The abortion clinic workers never warned me about the certain destruction of ‪Post-Abortive‬ ‪Trauma‬.
     I remember being emotionally numb, stuffing my fears and doubts as far away in my mind as I could, so I could get through the “procedure”.
     The workers at the clinic told me: “It’s just a mass of tissue, nothing to worry about” (LIE #1); “This will be a fairly quick procedure, you will feel a little bit of discomfort, but when it’s done, you won’t have to worry about “IT” anymore” (LIE #2); “It’s OK! You’re almost all back to normal now” (LIE #3). A decision made, based all on a woman’s right to choose and masked by a series of LIES! I left the clinic that day with a sense of relief “it” was done, not knowing the pain that lie ahead.
     There you have it --- For the first time since I can remember, the issue of abortion is being put under a glaring spotlight.  The layers are being peeled away and the mask has come off.  It is so much more that the "right" of a woman.  It is destroying a life, and just because there are women that want to shout it from the rooftops so they can develop a sisterhood and feel vindicated, it doesn't wash away the sin and its effects.  This #ShoutYourAbortion campaign has only served to spotlight the self-absorbed, egocentric personalities of women who are celebrating killing their child as a false sense of emancipation.  There will come a day when they must face the truth about what they've done, and I pray that they will repent and seek forgiveness from the One who Created them.  But to flaunt their deed as if it was some sort of badge of self-empowerment is to diminish the eternal consequences of their actions.

# Black Lives Matter; Unless It's A Fetus

     How difficult it is for mankind to see the heart of this matter; and how easy it is for Satan to deceive us.  All he has to do is whisper, "Look!  Focus your attention over here ... don't think about how hypocritical you've been for the last forty-odd years."
     We are all aware of increasing racial tension in this country since the Trayvon Martin killing five-and-a-half years ago.  Out of that racially-charged trial, as well as the Michael Brown trial, the "Black Lives Matter" movement was born.  Although this protest movement has, at times, become a vehicle for personal vendettas, it does have an "official" mission statement:  "the demand of freedom for Black bodies, justice for Black lives, safety for Black communities, and rights for Black people. We demand action, not words, from those who purport to stand with us."  Furthermore, its purpose is "to create, spark innovation, solidarity, and foster the practice of Black Love."
     Now, there will be those who will tell me that I have no right to comment on this topic, since I am a white woman; that I have no life experiences that can identify with the black community or the perceived injustices they have incurred.  I agree, in part.  Yes, I have not experienced the disproportionate number of deaths (by race) in my community; nor have I encountered excessive prejudice from a figure of authority that does not share my race.
     However, I am disappointed in the obvious disingenuousness of those that seek to lay the blame for all black deaths at the feet of another race.  I don't have to site statistics to convince you that gang murders contribute more to the deaths of young black men than the injustice of white police officers.  But where's the authentic and honest dialogue that will admit that the immoral welfare State has bred simmering hostility, leaving generations in bondage, and contributing to a criminal element that effects far too many law-abiding black communities?  These communities need protecting from the criminals, and who is it that is willing to provide that protection?  Don't you think that their presence and willingness to protect shows that "black lives matter" to these police officers, too?
     But, I don't really wish to engage in a conversation about which race is right and which is wrong.  The truth is that all humans have the ability to discriminate against those different from themselves.  That's the sad, sinful part of our human nature.  Rather, I wish someone with a voice louder than mine would point out the need to re-focus the "black lives matter" movement to the aborted black babies whose lives matter, too.

     How can we, as a nation, scream and shout and protest that black lives matter, while ignoring the shocking numbers of black aborted babies?  Don't get me wrong!  All aborted lives matter!  But if you want to convince me that you care about saving black lives from oppression, cruelty, and tyranny, then show me that you recognize how abortion has contributed to far more deaths within the black race.
     According to BlackGenocide.org, minority women constitute only about 13% of the female population (age 15-44) in the United States, but they underwent approximately 36% of the abortions. According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion; (by the way, the Guttmacher Institute is a non-profit organization which works to advance reproductive health through birth control, including abortion, so they have no reason to pad that statistic).
     Another website, Abort73.com, provides the following statistics:  "Every day in America, an average of 3,315 human beings lose their lives to abortion.  Based on the percentage of the races in this country, that translates to between 683-829 of those babies being Hispanic; between 1,093-1,174 are white; and between 995-1,207 are black.  (BlackGenocide.org cites statistics that say the number is much higher; on average, 1876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.)
      Not only are black children being killed at a far greater percentage than white children, it's possible they're being killed in greater numbers, period. Is that not shocking?! Though the white population in the U.S. outnumbers the black population five to one, abortion may well be killing more black children each day than white children. "
     Why isn't the Black Lives Matter movement focusing their attention on this fact, and on the preponderance of so-called "health clinics" in their neighborhoods, but which are, in reality abortion mills?  Has Satan completely blinded them to his schemes?  This movement claims they are fighting the belief that black lives have no value, and protesting the unnecessary loss of black lives in this country.
     Yet, the incidence of abortion seems to indicate the very things they are demonstrating against ... abortion says that black lives have no value, and it causes the greatest and most significant loss of life. It has been estimated that since 1973 black women have had about 16 million abortions. Author Michael Novak, an American Catholic philosopher on culture, has calculated "Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 36 million, the missing 16 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America's Black community would now number 52 million persons. It would be 36 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member."
     So, why can't they see that they have fallen for Satan's lies and committed the greatest loss of lives themselves?   But, I guess that is why Satan is so successful ... when he can tempt us with a false enemy, we fail to see his tactics, which are those of our true Enemy.
     Sadly, the young black leaders do not listen to older, wiser, and Christ-centered voices like that of Alveda C. King, daughter of slain civil-rights leader A.D. King and niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., who quotes her uncle often when outlining her opposition of abortion. She writes:  [Martin Luther King, Jr.] once said, “The Negro cannot win as long as he is willing to sacrifice the lives of his children for comfort and safety.” How can the “Dream” survive if we murder the children? Every aborted baby is like a slave in the womb of his or her mother. The mother decides his or her fate.
     Yet, the white population is not without sin in this deplorable practice.   We must face the truth that Satan has infiltrated our ranks, too.  How many of the abortionists in this country are white versus Hispanic or Black?  John Piper, who is a white pastor with a heart for racial justice, remarks on the disparity of abortion this way:  The main effect of putting abortion clinics in the urban centers is that the abortion of Hispanic and Black babies is more than double their percentage of the population. Every day [at least] 1,300 black babies are killed in America. Seven hundred Hispanic babies die every day from abortion. Call this what you will—when the slaughter has an ethnic face and the percentages are double that of the white community and the killers are almost all white, something is going on here that ought to make the lovers of racial equality and racial harmony wake up.
     That might not be a popular sentiment, and it sure makes me wince at the accusation, but can we deny these words?  We, as a culture and society, must own our complicity.  And can the human race(s) bear to pull the beam out of their own eyes before accusing another?  Misguided members of the black race feel justified in killing innocent police officers out of some distorted sense of self-righteous pride.  It's all so tragic; and nothing gets solved.  Satan's strategy keeps us from loving each other and ourselves -- more babies die and the racial tension mounts.  Could the words of Matthew 24:12, be more true? .... And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  God have mercy on us, and send your Son quickly!
