A Modern Woman's Perspective On The Kingdom of God on Earth

Opening The Door To Satan: This Generation's Obsession With Tattoos

This post is outside my normal realm of attention, but I think it is nonetheless important for us to consider.  For those of us who are spiritually aware of the evil that is cascading upon the earth, we see our culture a little differently than most.  We recognize all the ways that Satanic influence is creeping into our consciousness: through violent video games; through our music and entertainment; through the rapid integration of humans and computers in the quest for "eternal" existence.  Just 20-40 years ago, what might have been viewed with suspicion by a generation more "tuned in" to God, is now easily accepted and adopted by a more "humanistic" society ... everything is allowable when it comes to expressing yourself.
No practice is more pervasive these days than tattooing oneself.  Tattoos have existed throughout time, and even The Greatest Generation came home from the last World War with souvenirs of their battles inked on their forearms.  But this generation has taken "the art" of tattooing to new levels.  It is no longer enough to display a small heart or butterfly on your shoulder or ankle; or, if you are a guy, to tattoo some bad-ass image on your deltoid muscle.  Now, tattoo "sleeves" are sported by everyone from celebrities to the hamburger flipper at McDonalds.  The wearer displays a collage of tattoos that covers most, or all, of his/her arm; usually from shoulder to wrist.  But it is not uncommon to find that chest, back, both arms, the neck, and even parts of the face are covered with tattooed images.
So what do you think?  Is this just the unique method with which this generation is expressing itself?  Or could it lead to something more sinister?  I contend the latter.  But I want to make it clear that I do not believe that everyone who makes the decision to get a tattoo is doing it to pay homage to the devil or some malevolent spirit.  On the contrary -- most do not even know the implications of what they are doing in the name of "fashion".  So let me give you something to think about.
Most Christians are aware of the Leviticus 19:28 verse in the Bible:  “You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.”  But do you understand why God gave this commandment?  As always, it is important to know the full context of any Scripture quoted.  One of the primary reasons that the litany of rules and commandments that abound in Leviticus were instituted was to keep God's Chosen People from imitating the pagan societies that surrounded them.  There were rites and ceremonies that the pagans observed at the death of loved ones and at the time of a funeral.  They would cut themselves and tattoo themselves on behalf of the dead, in order to pacify the gods of the underworld that they worshipped, and thereby gain a favorable position for their dead friends or relatives.  The ritual of tattooing began as a means to placate and appease the demonic spirits of Satan.  (See commentary by noted theologian Matthew Henry).
Now, I have read blogs by Christian Pastors who have chosen to approve tattoos, especially those that express symbols of our faith and Christianity.  They will say, "The tattoo of today is much different than it was for those who originally received the Pentateuch. Today, a tattoo is a decorative means of self expression and personal decoration... but in our cultural context they do not denote a connection with evil or false faith. In the same way tattoos today do not link the wearer to cultic worship practices and is not generally practiced for ancient religious purposes, tattoos today are for ornamentation."
These blogs will then go on to rationalize that the Christian is free to tattoo themselves because we are no longer under the Old Testament Law.  They will explain that tattoos can give glory to God and be a tool for evangelizing.  But they just don't go far enough in their understanding!  And when they say tattoos don't mean the same "in our cultural context", what about what it means to the demonic spirits?  Do you think they play the game according to our "cultural context"?
At the root of my opinion about tattooing is the fact that the Bible clearly states, "For the soul of the flesh is in the blood, and I myself have put it upon the altar for you to make atonement for your souls, because it is the blood that makes atonement by the soul in it." (Leviticus 17:11).  Throughout the Bible, God makes it plain: Blood is important to Him; He regards Life and Blood as sacred.  Blood is Life, and God claims it as sacred to Himself -- so Sacred that it is the instrument of our atonement.  We can only find forgiveness through Blood.... and only Christ's Blood!
BUT HERE'S THE DEAL!  In their book, Dictionary of Cults, Sects, Religions and the Occult, authors George Mathers and Larry Nichols give us this description of Blood:  The vitalizing or life-giving agent used in the sacrament of the BLACK MASS. Blood is believed to provide power and life and therefore plays a central part in ritualistic sacrifices.  Blood is the "power source" in the spiritual realm of the occult!
So what does all this have to do with getting that beautiful work of art inked on your skin?  None other than Rolling Stone Magazine, gave this description of the process of getting a tattoo:  ""Evan Seinfeld, the bassist for Biohazrd, sits in the chair, offers his hand and waits for the bleeding to begin. . . The instrument whirs to life, humming across Seinfeld's hand, creating a vibrating pool of blood and ink."  (Rolling Stone, March 28, 2002, p. 40).
Then there are these details from The Body Art Book : A Complete, Illustrated Guide to Tattoos, Piercings, and Other Body Modifications by Jean-Chris Miller:  "You’ll see little drops of blood emerge from the freshly tattooed spot. . . Once that dries and little blood bubbles have ceased rising to the surface, the artist may want to snap a few photos of your piece." Nice!
But this commentary is the one that I want you to really pay attention to ... it is based on one of the most extensive works ever published on tattoos; Dr. W.D. Hambly’s, The History of Tattooing And It's Significance.  In it, Hambly concluded that, historically, tattooing had originated in connection with ancient rites of scarification and bloodletting which were associated with religious practices intended to put the human soul in harmony with supernatural forces and ensure continuity between this life and the next.  (PERSONAL NOTE:  A very dear friend of mine is a surgical nurse, and also a Christian.  She was greatly disturbed to enter a surgical suite and find an anesthetized patient with a tattoo around his neck that read, The gates of hell will welcome me.  Seems to back up Dr. Hambly's hypothesis, doesn't it?)
Tattooing has obviously been a historic method through which humans sought to mix, or blend, or harmonize with "supernatural forces".  I can guarantee that the forces that responded were not from God!  And just because people in this age will tell you that these rituals are not their intention when they tattoo (they are just expressing themselves through body art), there is nevertheless a long and authentic association between this body modification and connecting with satanic forces.  And do you really think those "forces" won't take advantage of this generation's ignorance of what they are opening themselves up to?
Before I leave this subject, I must hint at one other concern I have about tattooing.  We must not forget that Satan has always been obsessed with changing the DNA of those of us made in the image of God.  That's what he tried to do in the Garden of Eden to keep Jesus's pure bloodline from existing.  In his excellent book, Exogenesis: Changing Men Into Monsters, author Steve Quayle introduces the first-hand knowledge of "Matthew", a former tattoo artist, who became a Christian opponent of body modification.
Here, in Matthew's own words, are a warning to those who applaud the art of tattooing:  "Most people don't know it, but tattooing is the perfect delivery system for introducing materials into the human body.  From this standpoint, tattooing is very much a DNA vaccine... the changes are "mutagenic", meaning the DNA is altered in some way..."
I don't have room here to do an extensive essay on what I think are the dangers of tattooing.  But suffice it to say that the comparisons to ancient blood rituals, the possibility of connecting and associating with "Supernatural Forces", and the ability to incrementally alter one's DNA through repetitive tattoos, is enough to make me take God's warning seriously!  If my soul is in my blood, why would I want to imitate ancient rituals that sought to commune with demonic spirits, and expose my soul/blood to their influence?  And could this be the reason we see such drastic changes in personality and actions from celebrities who have embraced this latest "fashion trend" of heavily tattooing their bodies?  (Think Justin Bieber, for instance).  Regardless of whether you agree with me, or think that tattoos are just a harmless mode of self-expression, we must all be on guard against the "harmless" ways the Enemy infiltrates our culture and our personal lives.  Remember: he is "like a roaring lion who walks about seeking whom he may devour."

  1. Thank you for the explanation behind tatooing. Although I couldn't explain it, in my spirit there's a revulsion about it.

  2. tattoos are an act of rebellion, and way to remedy insecurities. It's a way to identify yourself with the rest of the rebels. If you ask someone why they got a tattoo, you aren't going to get a real reason. You'll get an empty one. As society continues to degenerate, so do our securities. I frequent the gym and have a decent build. Would I do it if no one saw it? Of course not, but at least It's healthy and takes a lot of work. tattoos are pathetic.

  3. I agree 100% that folks have gone overboard with tattooing but doesn't Leviticus also tell us we can't have a cheeseburger? It sure does because beef and dairy can't be put together and Lord help you if you make a bacon cheeseburger!

    5. The Torah teaching said not to boil a kid in its mother's milk. The mixing of any dairy and any meat is purely man's addition to the commandment. And, like tattooing and pagan rituals, such was the boiling of a kid in its mother's milk. And, the dietary laws have not been abrogated in the apostolic writings. In Mat 5:17-18 Yeshua himself says not one jot or tittle of the Torah shall pass away and those that teach it has been will be cursed. Be careful.

Have you really tried to disprove the Bible and God? Have you taken the time to discover anything about them? Because I can tell you that God is pursuing you just the same as the Devil is! I will pray that you give God a chance and come to know the saving and empowering grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. Having a tattoo does not determine if you go to heaven or hell, but it can be an open door to the occult. It's just a warming, that's all.

  4. About time! Excellent article. As for all those who favor tattoos. It is their personal right to express how ever they feel or believe. The many Pastors and proclaiming Christians who exercise their right of expression in the form of tattooing their body are in spiritual denial.

Why is it they always have to take the position that if it does not say so in the Bible it is OK! Or they think some how "ONLY" in this last century has the Bible needed to have its meanings reevaluated and changed and done so to always favor a more warm and fuzzy interpretation?

Here's the bottom line - If you desire to be a Christian - then act like one! God gave us all intellect to figure a few things out on our own - meaning - we should not always have to find a command in the Bible to determine our choice of action.

I for one respect my outer body because I believe that what God says in Leviticus is applicable today. Why? Because in the New Testament we are also told, as a Christian, our bodies are the Temple of God. Now apply that intellect and some common sense - would you put graffiti on your Church building? and that is not the temple of God! Then why put graffiti on your body which IS the temple of God? Common sense folks!

Christianity is a way of Life wherein salvation demands obedient behavior and if you don't act like an obedient Christian committed to Christ - you're nothing but a fool.

    2. Get a grip. A portal to Satan? Really? You guys are digging pretty deep on this one. The verses quoted are speaking about a pagan people that cut and tattoo themselves in honoring false gods for appeasement for the dead, and or mourning of the dead. If my salvation is effected by my tattoo's, that ain't much of a promise or a hope. No different, the lust in someone's heart? This is not what the Lord called us too, being judgemental, taking scripture out of context, and that is all this is. Read your King James, it correctly says, "in the hand" and " in the forehead" Not "on". That does not sound like a tattoo to me. I will see you in heaven, anyway, if you have believed in the One who died for us.

    3. No this article is presenting only the tip of the iceberg. Inking as shaving your head as well as ANY body piercing IS PAGAN. I studied the occult for over 30 years including most of the world religions and many inked themselves before, during and after rituals as well as the high priest of Egypt shaved their heads.

Topless, bottomless enough to show your private anatomy (buttocks), navel, all manner of dress now that leaves no room for imagination is likewise heralding back to pagan religions.

Not saying you have to wear a veil but our society is deeply, deeply into paganism now. And no what society considers "normal" today does open the doorway to satan.

Don't believe me? Simply look at the sheer escalating, savagely brutal crimes now all over. Read Mark, Chapter 4.

  5. I believe Leviticus 19:28 refers to the acts of flagellating ones self as a form of grief for the passing of a loved one. This was common at the time and caused people to perish in mourning the dead as a complication of the wounds they incurred during this practice. If you keep reading that passage in Leviticus it goes on to say do not eat a fish which does not swim. Ever had an oyster? Is that satanic? Then it states not to wear a fabric of two different weaves. Do you have on a cotton polyester blend? Are you satanic? These passages were relative to keeping the followers of the Lord safe from harm. In Mathew It says Jesus had the name of the lord written on his thigh in ash and fat. Ash and fat were the most common ingredients of primitive tattoo ink. Hmmmmm. Just saying its a maybe not a reality so do not freak out on me. As a tattooer with 22 years experience and a person with a life long relationship with the lord I am taken aback by this affront to my profession. One of the most important messages to me in all of the Bible is judge not lest ye be judged yourself and Let those of you without sin cast the first stone. I respect your concerns and opinions, tattoos are not for everyone. Neither are shellfish and cotton polyester blends. God Bless you all.

  6. This all goes back to the nephilim and the fallen ones. Until we (the church) fully understand the power they seek via blood rituals and understand the true power of the portals they are seeking to open then trying to explain to the 20 something who has John 3 :16 on her wrist means nothing. In fact she believes she is doing kingdom work by proclaiming jesus to an unbelieving world. However the real effect has been opening herself to the fallen ones and their ilk. Watch what your kids are doing this is a direct line to demon hosting in the body of Christ. 9. Here we go!! Using Leviticus to justify your argument is once again a "Christian" picking and choosing Bible verses to make a credible argument-- Hitler did that so he could convince Germans to turn in their guns. What's the difference? Read Leviticus about what God has forbade and all of us our guilty "under the law". We should all start keeping slaves, not shaving, women would need to drape their head, the list goes on and on...
Didn't Christ come to abolish the law? And who did he associate himself with-- the fisherman, prostitutes.
I'm sure they had no tattoos?
He shunned those on high spewing reality.
This is typical weak Christianity, that has turned off so many of my generation to the word of God and the love of Jesus-- as if you speak with any authority about a connection between tattooing and Satan. Quoting irrelevant books about tattooing and even a quote from some random guy in a Steve Quayle book is laughable. And we wonder why Christianity is in decline? What's the difference between that and ISIS using the Koran to justify cutting the heads off Christians? The whole world lies in the hands of the evil one, tattoos have nothing to do with it. Keep leading the sheep to the slaughter-- majoring on the minors is what got us in this predicament in the first place.
Heart brother, that's what Jesus concerned himself with

    1. First of all, Jesus did not come to ABOLISH the Law, but to FULFILL it, as He says Himself in what you think is an irrelevant book. Warning people to be careful about what they do to their bodies (the temple of God) is a far cry from beheading someone... I respectfully reject your comparison. And the random guy I quoted is a heavily tattooed artist himself, which I think gives him some credibility. I'm sorry if you do not agree...

      Delete
    2. While I appreciate your concern about picking and choosing from the OT, I would like to address one incorrect statement made / question asked. No...Christ did not come to abolish the law. That is a completely incorrect, unbiblical statement.

Matthew 5:17 (Jesus speaking): "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

Jesus came to fulfill the law so that we were no longer under the condemnation that it brought (see Romans and Galatians). I understand what you are trying to say, but it just needs to be stated accurately. Jesus did not abolish the law...He did not do away with it or remove it. Instead, He fulfilled the requirements of the law through His substitutionary suffering sacrifice. It might sound like semantics...but it is not. There is no need for a substitutionary death if the law is abolished, rather than fulfilled.

God is indeed concerned about the heart. But if you believe that gives a general excuse that God doesn't care about the outside, then that is just mishandling of scripture. If that were the case, then Paul would never have spoken about modest dress. There would be no discussion about letting your light shine before men. What is on the inside manifests itself on the outside.

Finally, let's not improperly utilize who Jesus associated with as some form of justification for any actions by those same people. Jesus came to save the entire world. But whether a fisherman or prostitute, or anyone else, had a tattoo prior to accepting Christ as Savior has no bearing on making it ok to continue in doing that again AFTER having their life changed. Jesus didn't come looking for those who had done no sin before meeting Him....but He did repeatedly reinforce the idea of "go and sin no more" AFTER someone came to know Him. Big, big difference in what you did before Christ, and what you do after Christ.

I'm really not stating an opinion either way regarding tattoos in my response to you. I am simply pointing out that you have accused the author of misusing scripture, but then misstated several things yourself in your own arguments. Having an opinion is great...but we need to be sure we are properly wielding scripture when we accuse others of misusing it.

  11. If you are so concerned with paganism then I would think that celebrating Easter and Christmas would be more important than a tattoo for a true Christian. A tattoo could be a moment of rebellion one regrets and repents for but practicing paganism by celebrating ritual holidays is a practice most Christians engage in with out a second thought.

  14. Very good article and you are courageous in today's society to write this. So many people will look at anyone making a comment about how pagan tats are.

I've never wanted a tattoo and think they are ugly. The thought of a needle piercing my flesh a hundred times or more and injecting ink underneath is revulsive to me, as well as pagan. So is the shaved head which harkens back to the days of ancient Egypt and their high priests.

So many things in our current society today are meant to usher in satan and take us further away from Christ.

  15. Great article! Because satan is the god of this world, he psychologically preparing the sleeping masses for his return. Eph 6:12 Tell us that we are under spiritual warfare and the only way to win this war is by the renewing of the mind spiritually. The masses are doing spiritual rituals and are totally unaware of their significance.

I'm not surprised at all churches are changing their positions on tattoos. The bible tells us there will be a great falling away (apostasy) before the man of perdition (sin) is revealed. When God instructs us, it's for our own good. We all were born into sin and it's not in mans carnal nature to understand the things of God. His ways are not our ways nor his thoughts out thoughts. We MUST submit to the word of God. Man doesn't live on bread alone but by the word of God.

  19. If you're going to take something from Leviticus, you have to take it all. Why not write an article about ear-piercing? The Jews weren't allowed to do that either. So if you attest that it's okay for a woman to have her ears pierced, but it is not okay to have a tattoo, then you are being hypocritical. If you look at the New Testament, the Gentiles were given 4 commands from the Holy Spirit and James in Acts. These were, "You shall abstain from blood, things sacrificed to idols, things strangled and fornication." Nowhere in the New Testament does it talk about tattoos, and you know why? Because God opened the door to salvation to those cultures and individuals who, for cultural or individual reasons, tattooed themselves. Everything that enters into our bodies affect our DNA, including food. Do you eat genetically-modified food? How about soy, canola oil, corn and sugar that comes from sugarbeets? If you do (and you do, these ingredients are pervasive in NA processed foods), then you are changing your DNA with foreign and manmade information (and yes, this has been proven). You can't pick and choose what you want to preach against when it isn't found in the New Testament simply because you personally don't agree with it. I know many tattooed people and they're the nicest, kindest people I know, and yes, they got the tattoo because 'they liked it'. God's grace extends to people who have ink under their skin, or do you believe that God will only save people who conform to your world-view and judgmental attitudes about other people? God judges the heart... the flesh is already corrupt! Flesh and blood shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. No one will get into heaven simply because they abstained from getting a tattoo, so no one will be kept out of heaven simply for getting one. Yes, the CONTENT of the tattoo matters because that is a reflection of the heart. It is all about THE HEART. Why do you continue to spend time on idle doctrines that have nothing to do with the Gospel when the hour is late and people are dying in their sins? Do you think a tattooed person will read this and come away with the knowledge of the truth and a love for Christ?

    1. Ear piercing does not involve blood ... it's all about the blood. And Blood is so important to God... it is Life and Power, and Satan uses it as his source of power, too. I think ANYTHING that changes our DNA is dangerous, but when it involves blood, God has special warnings.

    2. You don't get to pick and choose like that. God said no tattoos. He also said no piercings. They are equally bad because he didn't define a punishment for either. You don't get to interpret the text as you see fit.

So you either accept all of it, or none of it. You don't get to believe that some things are OK and others aren't.

I'm guessing you conjured up this ridiculous assumption that it's all about the blood because you have your ears pierced. Guess what... sometimes ears bleed when pierced.

Everyone cries about people judging them, but the statement above is the kind of statement our persecutors will make "the world will be such a peaceful place without judgmental people like you" not true at all. With that mind set, you may want to start ridding the world of the peoples that are judgmental.

  21. Well done Belle. The Word of God tells us in 1Th 5:22: Abstain from every appearance of evil.
We are ambassadors for Christ Jesus - we die to self - we live to Christ.

Interestingly - it appears that tattoo ink is a health risk: Inks Used in Certain Tattoo Kits Cause Infections http://www.fda.gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm316357.htm

God knows what is best for us...

  22. I really appreciate what you wrote and you are spot on. I'm not surprised by the responses, saddened but not surprised. When I was 18 years I got a tattoo of a dragon and never thought anything of it. However, several years later, I accepted Christ. Couple years after that I started to hear voices and lived in a state of terror for several months. The Lord revealed to me that my tattoo had opened me up to be demonized (along with some other idols in my household). I had it removed and repented of my youthful sin. By the blood of Jesus, He freed me from the "hold" Satan made me think he had on me. I am grateful that He showed us that He can water into whine because He can change back whatever damage the artist did!

  23. Those hung up in Levitical rules don't understand that the nephilim were the dictates of most of these rules. If you don't take the time to research and understand the flood and Genesis 6 then your babbling about justification for your tattoo is self indulgent- self approval. Learn the nephilim paradigm or what Quayle called the Rosetta stone to the meaning of the Old testament. Fight the good fight Belle.

  24. Wrong the world would be a more peaceful place without SIN in it!

  25. Based on the comments, I would say that there are a bunch of Christians with tattoos trying to call you out, Belle. As it was said above - I don't feel at peace with tattoos in my spirit and that is how Holy Spirit speaks to me. I have never understood why people want to mess up what God has so beautifully crafted, but people keep think that they can make God's creation better. He doesn't need your help!

  26. Stand strong Sis, remember Noah had only a few serving God in the midst of tremendous sin. If God be for you, who can be against you?

There are still Christians who are striving to do the will of God and we pray for our brothers and sisters who have conformed to the world. "Come out from her my people".

  27. What about the preceding verse then?…27'You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard. 28'You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.

  28. NOTHING is abrogated in the newer writings. If so then Yeshua would not be the Son of YAH, because His Word changes NOT.

  29. Something to consider as well is that TATTOO INK IS NOTE REGULATED IN ANY WAY! They could put ANYTHING in it & do! Mercury, and other toxic metals are common, so who's to say they don't put "sacrificial/ritual/majick" ingredients into the ink!
The bottom line is that anyone who is walking with Jesus Christ and is bathing in His Living Word, would never consider getting a PAGAN/DEMONIC INSPIRED TATTOO!

  30. I'm not certain that someone who uses words like "bad-ass" to prove their point has much ground to stand on when it comes to talking about not looking like the world and being set apart.

I also think it's possible you've given entirely too much credit to the enemy. My God doesn't live in a box. My God takes things the enemy means for evil and uses them for His goodness.

Do I like the looks of people who've turned their entire body into one giant tattoo? No. But do I know many people who've dedicated a least a small part of their bodies to be inked with scripture and truth and other representations of their testimony and do I think that's totally awesome? Absolutely.

  31. Give me a break. As an Anthropology major who studied cultural tattooing, it is considered as a symbolic language. The picture with the tattooed face is a New Zealand Maori warrior, who's tattoos represent his ancestor lineage. Don't look for devils where there is none.

  32. Yep, tats will end us all!! Not nuclear radiation or drone missles. Not the two faced politicians that swim in lies. Not ISIS or Russians bent on expanding their power. Not the fake economy we have. It won't be Ebola or any disease. It won't be our addiction to oil or the tons of pollution humans create every day. It won't be an EMP or fluke solar flare that takes down the power grid. It wont be another great flood or other natural disaster. No sir, tattoos will do us in.

Absolute rubbish. Humans are surrounded by and dwell in the realm of sin. There are NO SIN FREE CHRISTIANS. Otherwise why did Christ die for you? Christ came because NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY, you can NOT...NOT...NOT free yourself of sin. PERIOD!!! YOU CAN NOT!!! There is no lifestyle that is sin free. There is NO CHURCH that Christ will say "Oh, I guess they don't need saving because they are already free of sin." IS THERE????? NO!!!! Try, you self deluding idiots, try and live sin free...YOU CAN NOT. Your blood is made of sin. Tattoos or not, you are a sinner. We are all sinners.

  33. THANK YOU BELLE FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH!

There are those in my family, who can see into the unseen world. They see demons, they see angels. They watch the battles between the two. They, as believers in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, have used scripture to cast out the demons in the name of Jesus. (Quoting scripture out loud causes the demons to crumble up and cry out in pain. It weakens them. Then they are easier to cast out.) They have healed the sick, and in one case, the dead was raised. These are the signs of those that believe. All believers can cast out demons in Jesus name, raise the dead, and lay hands on the sick and heal them.

They have watched how the demons react to spilled blood. It excites them greatly and causes them to grow in size.

They have noted that those that they have seen with tattoos on their body, have demons attached to them.
Those that have had scripture engraved into their skin, still had the demons that came from getting the tattoo. The worst demonically attacked, were those that had evil things tattooed on them. Tattoo parlors and fortune teller stores have about the same amount of demons surrounding them.

I feel sad for those who have gotten tattoos. I bet no one told them before hand, that they would receive a demon along with the ink.

Getting a tattoo opens you up for demonic harassment. It really is that simple. One can be saved, and still get attacked by demons. So I do not believe that a tattoo affects your salvation. (However, if you tattooed on your body, that the gates of hell will welcome you, then you may have to remove that curse that you have placed upon yourself, so there is no chance that your own words have placed you there! The scripture says that our words have power.).

Can these demons be removed? Yes. They need to be renounced and the demons that came in with it, cast out in Jesus Name. If it is an evil tattoo, it may need to be removed or kept covered. Ask the Holy Spirit. He will lead us into all truth.

Deliverance ministries have noted demons that came in from a tattoo. They have also noted demons that came in from having one's body pierced. Often, the demons lay dormant, till the time is right to attack. They are not always noted right after the tattoo or piercing.

And by the way, that New Zealand Maori warrior has demons in him. Those demons came through the computer screen as soon as I seen his face.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. Do not let the naysayers in!

    Much blessings to you,
    C. Dunamis

  34. O.k. regardless of our opinions, this isn't the first time christianity and tatooing has been a topic in question or been popular. Back when Jesus walked the eart many slaves were tatooed.shortly after Jesus departure christians in Ethiopia and Egypt were tatooing christian images on their body to show devotion to the one true God. Ny the fourth century A.D. Montanists were tatooing themselves as slaves to God. They relied upon the Scriptures in Revelation. Regardless of what you and i think it has been part of christianity period. I think that your read is great and i am not arguing for or against tatoos. Just because i do not have tatoos doesn't give me ammo to gang up on fellow christ followers. Here is a word in the Bible holiness. The process of becoming Holy is theough him. People make mistakes because all through this journey is this process of becoming like Jesus and our old nature likes to push that Holy DNA aside. Our job is to be dealers of Hope and lenders of Grace because that's who we follow. If you think this topic was about winning perspective and your perspective is not Grace you are on your own and you are not fighting the good fight my friend.

    1. First of all, I have a beloved nephew who has tattooed his body for Christ. So, I understand that motivation. Nor do I condemn any Christian who feels they are honoring God. That is between them and God. And I will agree that tattooing has been associated with Christianity through the centuries .. but that doesn't mean that God approves of it. Each person must make up their own mind about the effects of tattooing upon the temple of God that is our body. I just feel there are enough warning signs about the blood involved with tattooing, that Christians should look at all aspects of this ancient ritual, and not view it as just an innocent fad.

  35. So what's the most offensive satanic tattoo I can get? I'll make sure it's prominently displayed to keep nuts like you away from me. You're just upset that people are getting too smart for your cult. The jokers who wrote it were even smart enough to scare you away from thinking by threatening you with damnation. Lol afterlife. If I thought I had to live another life I'd kill myself right now.
