We are all brothers and sisters in Christ! ...Yes! We are all brothers and sisters in Christ! We are called upon to defend the faith and each other from death and destruction --- whether spiritual or physical. We've made mistakes in the past of denying protection to Believers of different ethnic groups, as if we American Christians are the only ones Jesus died for. So listen to this passionate comment from someone who knows what he is talking about! Like at the beginning of our history, let this country become a refuge for God-fearing Christians who just want the freedom to worship our Lord in safety. They can teach us a thing or two about perseverance and endurance ... two qualities that I'm afraid we're going to need very soon!Pam Kohlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00678673505358164380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-30908852124470120452013-01-16T17:05:54.933-06:002013-01-16T17:05:54.933-06:00I think we need to realize that our purpose as &qu...I think we need to realize that our purpose as "Christians" comes before our identity as "Americans". When Jesus comes, I don't think He's going to care a bit about our nationality, or what we've accumulated for ourselves. He's going to ask, "What have you done for ME?" God bless you for it.
Progressives ...Awesome post! God bless you for it.
Progressives and Moral Equalizers generally claim "inclusiveness" and "tolerance" as some of their most wonderful aspects. But one of the things the left so conveniently ignores in their self-promoting "enlightenment" is open and disrespectful intolerance of anybody who doesn't agree with them -- otherwise they would have to acknowledge the falsity of PC gobbledygook.
I am constantly on some spectrum between mildly irritated and morally outraged whenever I listen to some talking head or government apparatchik tell me about how America needs to be more "tolerant" or "inclusive" towards Islam while simultaneously denigrating and shoving Christianity into a class of morons and kooks. I will say it again: Islam's core means to convert, submit and conform, or die. There is no forgiveness without begging to a vengeful god. No divine spark that makes every human special, just a race made from clay to serve a master. No free will or individualism, just subservience to Shari'a and conformity to the Ummah. All are submissive slaves to Allah. Or they are put to death. (side note: the common muslim name Abdullah literally means "slave of Allah." Yet how many members of the Nation of Islam have assumed that moniker while calling for race war against "slave master" whites?)

Christianity in America is the bedrock of our way of life. No amount of revisionist history can wish that away. All people are sovereign individuals who can have a personal dialogue with their Maker. Forgiveness and love are the prime movers of every Christian's life, and freely offered to everyone. Individual choice, liberty and determination are the right of every American. The greatest gift is giving your life to save another's, not to be a murdering "martyr" that blows up innocents to "die in the cause Allah." And salvation can be had by just asking for it from a loving Savior.

For every one who reads this blog, I ask that you be aware and ready to speak out in defense of Christians, be generous in your gifts to charities that help Christians being persecuted in places like Sudan, Yemen, Egypt and Iraq. And if the opportunity comes where you can help bring a refugee Maronite or Coptic family to your town, please embrace it and support it.Green Eyed Jinnnoreply@blogger.com
