I also fear that our young Christians are being tempted by the tenets of the Emerging Church, which preaches a "more free and broad" interpretation of the Bible. These young Christians need to pay heed to the Scripture that says, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." They also need to remember the parable of the Wedding Banquet and that the doors will be shut, leaving many outside, to weep and gnash their teeth. You cannot pick and choose which parts of the Bible to follow ... it is ALL the Word of God!Pam Kohlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00678673505358164380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-34462097198812636222014-12-02T20:41:17.067-06:002014-12-02T20:41:17.067-06:00Z for zombies!Z for zombies!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-6479403943583787382014-12-02T19:06:15.169-06:002014-12-02T19:06:15.169-06:00Couldn't agree with you more, Belle. I am mid 50's but am surrounded by young people at my job and have several young family members who profess to be Christians. These young people live worldly lives and see nothing wrong with that. There is no separation from the world. They drink alcohol, use tobacco products, spend money to the point of debt, and think nothing of missing church. If you try to talk to them about it, they argue with you and consider you judgmental. <br />I imagine that for those who are left after the Bride is raptured, it will be a huge wake-up call and I pray that this is exactly what they need to realize that it is about a love relationship with Jesus Christ, which is the only way the Holy Spirit can change us. My greater prayer is that they will realize that now and become a part of the Bride.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00420326421287420092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-20639355890912050582014-12-02T10:36:35.659-06:002014-12-02T10:36:35.659-06:00Notice that you said "Generation Z", thi...Notice that you said "Generation Z", this is the last generation. Large corporations own the textbook companies and dictate the content of the text; they own the universities through the funds they donate and thus the people who sit on the Board of Directors (who may be themselves). Notice how the enemy erodes the foundations that God gave us: marriage, family, nations. The NWO is well on it's way to running the planet through ten corporations- not national leaders. Look at Nestle and Novartis as starters. This the textbooks and the educational system must reflect this agenda.Karennoreply@blogger.com
