ITS LIKE A 8" HANDLE W/3" OF PLASTIC BRISTLES ON IT. AND THAT WORKS SO GREAT. YOU COULD USE A TOOTH BRUSH(SAME THING) BUT IT IS TO SMALL.. BUT I USE TOOTH BRUSHES ALOT FOR CORNERS AND CRACKS LIKE THE RINGED AREAS. IF IT CLEANS YOUR TEETH.....IT WILL CLEAN YOUR SAUCE MASTER. ! AMEN! I then add this tomato puree to a pot of sautéed onions, peppers, cilantro and seasonings. I cook it on the top of the stove for 20-30 minutes and then can it. It's simple! Also can I run my peppers and onions through the screen and do I need to cook them some before or are they soft enough?Susan@susanaphillips@yahoo.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-40135631062659293942013-08-30T13:24:33.327-05:002013-08-30T13:24:33.327-05:00Jozana, You're right! I usually let it soak in warm soapy water for 15 minutes or so, and that seems to make it easier to remove all the skin, seeds, etc. It is definitely the hardest piece of the equipment to clean, but just part of the process.
