We were without water for about a week. Luckily, we own the property next door, which has a cistern. We carried water for our needs. We certainly take for granted the luxuries in everyday life, however we should be better prepared for long term situations. When the electric goes out there is no gas or grocery stores and people get angry in a hurry. Can you imagine how quickly they would get violent if it were a prolonged situation? I'm currently reassessing my supplies. Thank you for your blog. The Ole Ky countryboy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
