We can learn a lot from him and his fellow Seals. It is time for the American people to get hardened and prepared for tough times. But we need our military at their strongest to not only protect us, but to be the role models they have always been. My father was a proud WWII vet and I applaud all of our veterans. And I wanted to point you to my post on "Women in Combat" (see link below). I agree with you completely! Our military has a history of being a formidable fighting machine, and it is just not the place for our sisters and daughters. Well said!

http://www.salvationandsurvival.com/2013/02/women-in-combat-my-opinion.htmlPam Kohlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00678673505358164380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-57178726713547881242013-02-18T17:36:11.265-06:002013-02-18T17:36:11.265-06:00Very clear article ! I am half way through Marcus Lutrell's book " Lone Survivor " and was trying to understand all the nonsensical things that were being done to the seal group during their training. The " totally unjustified " demands to get wet and sandy were puzzling. Now that I am reading the actual firefight account in which he was involved I could understand the training behind it. Some things are thrown at you that are " difficult to understand " ... ( II Peter 3:16 ! ) ... but that is what it took for them to perform the job needed at the time under the conditions of pure havoc.

I can't help but think of the same thing when reading your article. It must be terribly difficult to understand the NONSENSE of how our government functions - let alone how the congress allowed this to happen to how we deal with our insolvency. I'm beginning to comprehend that perhaps we - " preppers " - will have needed to face these things to be better equipped for when the REAL DEAL happens !
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-3589700109306405642013-02-18T17:05:17.906-06:002013-02-18T17:05:17.906-06:00Dear Belle Ringer, I served in the military as did...Dear Belle Ringer, I served in the military as did my father and my grandfather,my uncles and my great, great grandfather fought in the civil war (lost a leg, the only photo we have of him is with his stump) It is my proud heritage to stand along a lineage of men who served and fought for the idea of America. Now I hear that our new Obamanitation (actually the bastian of honor himself Charles Wrangle) will try and mandate that young ladies over 18 register for the draft. This is where I draw the line and say no more, please consider devoting a blog to this subject to inform the patriots that read your blog as a call to action. I did not fight for the an idea of America that includes my daughter, neices or little girls in my Snday school class suiting up against their will.

Fred from Tennessee fa.chance@yahoo.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
