Our children are really HIS children, and mothers are who He has entrusted to bring them up in "the ways of the Lord". No mother is perfect, but her children know her heart and her influence is felt for generations to come. Your mom sounds a lot like mine; putting her children before her own needs, and always being there when we walked through the door. I, too, tried to let her know I valued all she was, both as a woman and a mother, before she died. No one lived their life with more grace.Pam Kohlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00678673505358164380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367019700923216960.post-39460420934403218612012-05-13T18:23:13.722-05:002012-05-13T18:23:13.722-05:00Hi Belle,
Thank you for sharing this story of Mary...Hi Belle,<br />Thank you for sharing this story of Mary, putting it into perspective and also your feelings and thoughts of your own mother. I too am thankful for my dear Mother and all she has given through the years to all of her children and for her being a good wife to my dear Father. She was a stay at home Mom and I can say that though we didn't have many things that other families had with two incomes, my Mom was always there for us after school and waiting to hear about our day and we always had what we needed and more, but mostly knowing she was always there for us was the best gift of all. I am thankful for my Mom and her sacrifices for family and I've tried to let her know that through the years my appreciation and respect. Being a Mother myself, it is the toughest job out there that I know of and have had! There is no other responsibility in life more important than raising your children and trying to do it well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
