100 Items To Disappear First - Part 1

In the case of any disaster or emergency, this is a list of essential items that will disappear first.  It was first compiled for the Y2K scare in 2000, and now I think it is even more relevant today.  I have broken it into two parts, because I don’t want you to be overwhelmed and get glassy-eyed at a prolonged list.
This is a list you may have seen before, but it is a good idea to peruse it again.  If a complete or partial collapse should occur, how many of these things do you have on hand?  And if we are able to avoid the fall, then these items will come in handy during a tornado, a hurricane, or any time services are disrupted.  Please take a moment and check over this list….it’s your insurance policy.

  1. Store fuels carefully! Coleman's fuel is for all purposes,"raw" gasoline(without the antiknock and other compunds).I'm not sure what sort of shelf life it has. Kerosene and lamp oil seem to keep very well. I like candles-they store easily, and don't deteriorate much with age.
LED flashlights are easy on batteries. You can get LED replacement bulbs if you have a favorite flashlight. I have a lot of the stuff on this list so far..

  2. I actually thought that I was starting to do fairly well on stocking up on things until I read your list! Made me realize we still have a ways to go, but I am also glad that you made the list, gives me a lot of ideas about more I need to do. Will print up the 2nd 50 items as well. Thanks so much for you ideas!
